Returns from loan Poveda has returned to Getafe after a six-month loan with Huesca.

Impact Poveda made 15 La Liga appearances (three starts) up front for Getafe last season -- and he scored his first-ever goal in the competition against Osasuna in December -- before being loaned down to Huesca in the second division in January. The 25-year-old is back in Getafe for now, but he'll be behind Enes Unal at least in the depth chart if he does indeed stay with the club for the upcoming campaign.

Scores winner off bench Poveda scored a goal off his lone shot after coming off the bench during Sunday's 1-0 win over Osasuna.

Impact Poveda was brought in the 83rd minute, replacing Sandro Ramirez and ended up as the hero for Getafe. Deep into stoppage time, the forward rose above all defenders to head home a cross from the right flank and score the lone goal of the match. This was the first goal of the season for Poveda and he'll hope this helps him to get more playing time during Jan. 2 home match against Real Madrid.
