Gregor Kobel - Picks up groin issue Kobel came off with a groin injury during Wednesday's clash with Copenhagen in the Champions League, according to manager Edin Terzic.
Impact Kobel picked up a groin issue at the worst possible time, heading into a run of three matches inside seven days. Alexander Meyer will likely get all three starts, with Kobel more likely than not to be rested until the World Cup break. Kobel has dealt with a variety of injuries, but has been excellent when on the pitch.

Marius Wolf - Ruled out until Winter break Wolf (illness) will be out until 2023 due to an infection in his vestibular system, Dortmund announced.
Impact Wolf is out until 2023, which sounds severe, but is just a three-match run on the sideline. The depth defender and midfielder has largely been replaced by Thorgan Hazard at left-back behind Raphael Guerreiro. Wolf should be able to return in late January when the Bundesliga begins once again.

Tom Rothe - Out until 2023 Rothe (knee) will be out until 2023, Dortmund announced.
Impact Rothe will miss the final three matches before the World Cup break, and will be out until 2023. The back up defender doesn't change much for the first team, and should have more than enough time to return during the two months off.
