Fabian Bredlow - Takes over starting role Bredlow made 15 starts, allowing 23 goals, during the 2022/23 Bundesliga.
Impact Bredlow opened the season as the backup to Florian Muller before taking over the starting role in the closing stages of the season. With Muller rumored to be departing the club Bredlow will face little competition from within for the starting job in Stuttgart.

Wataru Endo - Nine goal contributions Endo made 33 starts for the third consecutive Bundesliga season, scoring five goals and adding four assists in 2022/23.
Impact Endo has started all but one match in each of his three seasons with the Bundesliga and continues to improve. The midfielder is perhaps the most consistent part of a mixed bag Stuttgart side. His nine goal contributions are a step forward as he set new bests in goals and assists while also creating 46 chances. Endo will maintain a major role in 2023/24 with the chance to build on this significant offensive volume.

Silas Katompa Mvumpa - Earns major role Silas scored five times and assisted twice across 30 appearances (23 starts) in the 2022/23 Bundesliga.
Impact Silas missed most of 2021/22 with a knee injury but came out immediately as a starter in the new season. While he might not have lived up to the double-digit goals he managed before the injury, Silas still played a major part. The winger created 18 chances and took 43 shots, volume right in line with the 11-goal campaign. Silas has pre-season to continue to gel with new signing Sehrou Guirassy, who figures to lead the line in 2023/24.

Borna Sosa - Nine goal contributions again Sosa scored twice and assisted seven times in 25 appearances (22 starts) during the 2022/23 Bundesliga.
Impact Sosa has ended on nine goal contributions in each of his last three Bundesliga seasons, with one more goal each time. The wing-back is a rock-solid option on the left flank with plenty of upside offensively and the ability to do his duty defensively. Perhaps most importantly has been his consistently growing role on set-pieces, with 79 corners in 2022/23 a new career-high. Sosa is signed through the end of 2025 but has drawn interest from around Europe and has made it no secret he wants to play in the Champions League.

Tanguy Coulibaly - Four goals off bench Coulibaly scored four times during 14 appearances off the bench in the 2022/23 Bundesliga.
Impact Coulibaly earned his best return yet with four goals during 14 appearances off the bench. That's the only positive for what was an awful season from the forward, who is expected to depart Stuttgart following the end of his contract. Coulibaly joined the club from PSG and made 66 appearances (28 starts) across three season, accumulating six goals and two assists.

Chris Fuhrich - Nets five times Fuhrich scored five times and assisted twice during 33 Bundesliga appearances (21 starts.)
Impact Fuhrich took a step forward during his second season with the Swabian side, he scored five times and added a pair of assists. The forward also played 1,892 minutes, a new career-high that lead to his 44 shots taken and 24 chances created. Fuhrich and Sehrou Guirassy head into pre-season as favorites to lead the line in 2023/24.

Sehrou Guirassy - Loan option activated Guirassy's loan to Stuttgart was made permanent after the club activated the option to buy, Stuttgart announced.
Impact Guirassy joined Stuttgart on loan and put together a heroic season, scoring 11 times in 22 appearances (20 starts) and keeping the club in the Bundesliga. The forward was never in doubt of remaining with the club and will be the favorite to lead the line to open 2023/24.
