Lorenz Assignon - Joins Stuttgart until 2029 Assignon has signed a contract until 2029 with Stuttgart, joining from Rennes on a permanent move, his new club announced. "With his footballing skills and dynamism Lorenz fits our...
Impact Assignon has made 98 competitive appearances for Rennes since debuting in Ligue 1 in September 2021. He also spent loan spells at Bastia and Burnley where he gained further experience and produced a combined two goals and four assists. During the 2024-25 season he was a regular starter for Rennes scoring three goals and providing four assists in 32 Ligue 1 matches. He will bring solid competition on the right flank to Josha Vagnoman.
JUNE 6 • ROTOWIRE
Finn Jeltsch - Leaves Germany U21 team Jeltsch was called up for the first time to the Germany U21 team to participate in the U21 European Championships in June but was forced to leave the camp due to a lower leg inflam...
Impact Jeltsch is dealing with lower leg inflammation and was forced to leave the Germany U21 camp. This is a big blow for the 18-year-old defender since it was his first call-up and he could have participated in the U21 European Championships between June 11 and June 28. He will likely aim to recover and be fit for the preseason with the DFB Pokal champions.
MAY 29 • ROTOWIRE
Yannik Keitel - Sees bench for Cup final Keitel (undisclosed) is on the bench for Saturday's DFB Cup Final against Arminia Bielefeld.
Impact Keitel is back in the team sheet for the final match of the season, seeing a bench role while Stuttgart try to take home silverware in the DFB Cup. He will hope to see time, likely only seeing a few limited minutes if he appears. He ends the season starting in two of his 11 league appearances while notching one chance created, two crosses and five shots.
MAY 24 • ROTOWIRE
Angelo Stiller - Starting in Cup Final Stiller (ankle) is in the starting XI for Saturday's DFB Cup Final against Arminia Bielefeld.
Impact Stiller has made his way back to the team sheet for the final outing of the season, as his in the starting XI after his ankle injury. This is good news for the club, as he is a regular starter when fit. He will be happy to end the season healthy, starting in 31 of his 32 league appearances while bagging one goal on 21 shots and eight assists on 59 chances created.
MAY 24 • ROTOWIRE
Chris Fuhrich - Struggles offensively Fuhrich scored twice and added three assists in 33 appearances (23 starts) in the Bundesliga.
Impact Fuhrich's production took a nosedive this season. He still played almost 2,000 minutes but he just couldn't get anything going. It was a season to forget in general for the winger, who maintained his starting role throughout, but was consistently frustrating. Concerning for the future is that his creative numbers all took a downturn as well, with only 33 chances created and 12 shots on goal.
MAY 21 • ROTOWIRE
Atakan Karazor - Career-highs offensively Karazor set new career-highs with two goals and four assists in 32 appearances (31 starts.)
Impact Karazor continued as one of the top choices in the midfield and put together an excellent season alongside Angelo Stiller. The midfielder set new career-highs across the board, scoring his first two Bundesliga goals. He should be a nailed-on started next season as Stuttgart look for another top half finish.
MAY 21 • ROTOWIRE
Enzo Millot - Excellent again Millot scored six goals and added five assists in 1,850 minutes in the Bundesliga.
Impact Millot's second season as a consistent starter was one better in both goals and assists, despite playing 400 fewer minutes. The midfielder has made himself something of a hero in the Stuttgart attack after keeping them in the Bundesliga two years ago. Millot might not be an everyday starter, but he projects for a big role moving forward.
MAY 21 • ROTOWIRE
Ermedin Demirovic - Brilliant in front of goal Demirovic scored 15 times and added an assist in 34 appearances (20 starts) in the Bundesliga.
Impact Demirovic was brought in to replace the excellent Serhou Guirassy and he did that admirably. His first season in Stuttgart was excellent as he scored 15 times in less than 1.900 minutes. Demirovic should remain a major piece of the starting XI moving forward.
MAY 21 • ROTOWIRE
Finn Jeltsch - Major role immediately Jeltsch played 12 times (nine starts) after joining the senior team in February.
Impact Jeltsch was a one of the brightest stars in the 2. Bundesliga and he was brilliant immediately after his signing from Nuremburg. He didn't look off the pace at all and was an immediate contributor. His role is only set to grow as he looks for a second season with Stuttgart.
MAY 21 • ROTOWIRE
Maximilian Mittelstadt - Career-year Mittelstadt scored once and added seven assists in 31 appearances (28 starts) in the Bundesliga.
Impact Mittelstadt continued his growth as one of the best full-backs in the Bundesliga, with another brilliant campaign. This time he was good for eight goal contributions while establishing himself as an every-day starter. Mittelstadt should continue to build on that role moving forward.
MAY 21 • ROTOWIRE
Nikolas Nartey - Likely to depart Nartey is expected to depart Stuttgart at the end of his contract with the club.
Impact Nartey's contract expires at the end of the season, meaning the cup final will likely be his last match for Stuttgart. Injuries have proven to be too much of an issue for Nartey, who has suffered through a variety of serious issues.
MAY 21 • ROTOWIRE
Ameen Al-Dakhil - Limited by injury Al-Dakhil made just seven appearances (six starts) since joining Stuttgart.
Impact Al-Dakhil joined Stuttgart from Burnley and was expected to push for substantial minutes in the starting XI. That didn't quite come to fruition, instead the defender was hampered by injuries, including a muscular issue that ended his season early.
MAY 21 • ROTOWIRE
Jamie Leweling - Downturn in production Leweling scored and assisted twice in 27 appearances (22 starts) in the Bundesliga.
Impact Leweling's second campaign in Stuttgart wasn't quite as impressive as his debut campaign. The winger only earned four goal contributions despite playing more minutes this season. Leweling should remain a depth option for the foreseeable future.
MAY 21 • ROTOWIRE
Julian Chabot - Earns major role Chabot made 31 appearances (27 starts) during his first season with Stuttgart.
Impact Chabot was excellent after joining Stuttgart from a relegated Koln side. He immediately took a major role in the starting XI, including playing 646 minutes in the Champions League. Chabot should remain a huge part of the starting XI next season as he anchors the Stuttgart defense.
MAY 21 • ROTOWIRE
El Bilal Toure - Hampered on loan Bilal Toure (foot) was hampered by injuries and made just three starts during his loan to Stuttgart.
Impact Bilal Toure will reportedly return to Atalanta at the end of his loan with the club not interested in making his mover permanent. The forward scored twice and added a single assist during the campaign, failing to really make his mark on the starting XI.
MAY 21 • ROTOWIRE
Ramon Hendriks - Solid depth option Hendriks provided one assist in 25 appearances (10 starts) in his first Bundesliga campaign.
Impact Hendriks' first season in the Bundesliga was solid, he played a decent role, made double-digit starts and was generally impressive. The defender should remain a depth option next season, but a run of good form could be enough for him to play his way towards more minutes.
MAY 21 • ROTOWIRE
Jacob Bruun Larsen - Barely plays Bruun Larsen scored once during 15 appearances (three starts) in the Bundesliga.
Impact Bruun Larsen's time with Stuttgart was an absolutely disappointment. Not only did the winger fail to impress he also formed a rift with the coach, which ended up with him benched and given extremely minimal minutes to close the campaign.
MAY 21 • ROTOWIRE
Fabian Rieder - Disappoints on loan Rieder scored once and assisted three times in 21 appearances with Stuttgart on loan from Rennes.
Impact Rieder is set to return from his loan to Stuttgart after failing to do enough to earn a starting role. He was actually particularly efficient in the Champions League, but it clearly wasn't enough to impress management in Stuttgart. He will hope for a larger role back with Rennes, or a permanent move away from the club.
MAY 21 • ROTOWIRE
Nick Woltemade - Signs with Stuttgart until 2028 Woltemade has signed a contract with Stuttgart until 2028, joining from Werder Bremen, the club announced.
Impact Woltemade joined Stuttgart in the summer transfer window and had a complete season with the club, scoring 12 goals, providing two assists, and contributing to 37 chances created and 49 shots in 28 Bundesliga appearances. The club has raised its confidence in him for the future since they signed him for the next three seasons.
MAY 20 • ROTOWIRE
Deniz Undav - Involved in two of three goals Undav scored a goal and had an assist while taking five shots (three on goal), crossing once accurately and creating two chances during Saturday's 3-2 win over Leipzig.
Impact Undav scored in the 23rd minute before setting up Ermedin Demirovic in the 78th while leading Stuttgart with five shots. The forward ends the year with two goal involvements, 13 shots, four crosses and nine chances created over his final three appearances.
MAY 17 • ROTOWIRE
Nick Woltemade - Ends season in form Woltemade scored a goal while taking three shots (one on goal) and creating a chance during Saturday's 3-2 win over Leipzig.
Impact Woltemade found the back of the net in the 57th minute scoring Stuttgart's second goal. The forward finished the season in form with goals in each of his final three matches to go along with 14 shots and seven chances created during that timeframe.
MAY 17 • ROTOWIRE
Maximilian Mittelstadt - Sets up one of three goals Mittelstadt had an assist while crossing nine times (five accurate), creating four chances and making two tackles during Saturday's 3-2 win over Leipzig.
Impact Mittelstadt set up Nick Woltemade in the 57th minute assisting Stuttgart's second goal while leading the team in crosses, chances created and tackles. The wing-back had one assist to go along with six chances created, 16 crosses and four shots over his final three games of the year.
MAY 17 • ROTOWIRE
Ermedin Demirovic - Scores as substitute Demirovic scored a goal while taking three shots (one on goal) and creating a chance during Saturday's 3-2 win over Leipzig.
Impact Demirovic entered the match in the 58th minute and scored the game winning goal in the 78th. The forward had a goal involvement in each of his final three matches of the season to go along with eight shots and two chances created.
MAY 17 • ROTOWIRE
Alexander Nubel - Concedes twice in season finale Nubel allowed two goals while making three saves during Saturday's 3-2 win over Leipzig.
Impact Nubel allowed tow first half goals, but blanked Leipzig in the second half as Stuttgart came from behind for all three points. The keeper had a strong end to the campaign allowing just Saturday's two goals while combining for four saves and keeping two clean sheets over his final three starts.
MAY 17 • ROTOWIRE
Finn Jeltsch - Finds bench Jeltsch (undisclosed) is on the bench for Saturday's match against Leipzig.
Impact Jeltsch was a late call for Saturday's match, but has made the call after it appears he passed his testing. This is solid news for the club, but unfortunately for the defender, he misses out on a starting role after being a regular starter since joining the club.
