Jamie Gittens - Struggles to find groove Gittens generated five crosses (zero accurate) in Sunday's 1-1 draw versus Hoffenheim. In addition, he was given a yellow card in the 76th minute.
Impact Gittens has been a great source of creativity and output for Borussia Dortmund this season, but failed to gain a foothold in their draw against Hoffenheim. In 76 minutes played, the English left winger created zero chances, registered zero shots, completed just one of his three dribbles, and was inaccurate with all five of his crosses. It is hard to remember with how good he has been playing, but Gittens is still just 20 years old, so performances like the one on Sunday are to be expected as part of his growing process as a player. He will look to get back on track this Sunday against Wolfsburg.

Yan Couto - Attempts to spark attack Couto generated two crosses (zero accurate) and four tackles in Sunday's 1-1 draw against Hoffenheim. He was injured and subbed out in the 86th minute.
Impact Couto was seemingly one of the only players for Borussia Dortmund who showed any real attacking intent in their draw against Hoffenheim. In 85 minutes played, the Brazilian right back completed one dribble, made four passes into the final third, and completed three of his five long ball passes. He was solid defensively as well, winning two of his four tackles and making two interceptions. Hopefully Couto's threat in the final third will translate into a goal and/or assist when Dortmund visit Wolfsburg on Sunday.

Gio Reyna - Makes most of rare start Reyna scored one goal to go with one shot (one on goal) in Sunday's 1-1 draw against Hoffenheim. In addition, he was given a yellow card in the 73rd minute.
Impact Reyna made his first start in this Bundesliga season for Borussia Dortmund on Sunday, and made sure to capitalize on the opportunity. In 77 minutes played, the American midfielder scored one goal on his only shot, made four passes into the final third, and had three touches in the opposition's box. Reyna has struggled to find minutes for Dortmund this year. However, hopefully his goal will earn him more playing time this Sunday against Wolfsburg.

Gregor Kobel - Concedes late equalizer Kobel had no saves and allowed one goal in Sunday's 1-1 draw versus Hoffenheim.
Impact Kobel had a relatively stress-free day in net for Borussia Dortmund, until Hoffenheim attacker Jacob Bruun Larsen capitalized on a chance in the 91st minute of the match to salvage a draw for the visitors. The shot was Hoffenheim's only one on target in the game, and Kobel failed to keep it out. The Swiss goalie has had a poor season by his standards, tallying only the 13th-best save percentage in the Bundesliga with a mark of 61.4. Kobel will hope to right the ship when Dortmund visit Wolfsburg this Sunday.

Andrej Kramaric - Quiet day Kramaric generated two shots (zero on goal), five crosses (two accurate) and three corners in Sunday's 1-1 draw against Borussia Dortmund.
Impact Kramaric had a slow day in attack by his standards against Borussia Dortmund. In 79 minutes played, the Croatian put both of his shots off target, created just one chance, failed to complete his only dribble, and completed just two of his five crosses. Kramaric is Hoffenheim's leading scorer in the Bundesliga and has started every league game for them this season. Hopefully, he can get back to his goal scoring ways this Saturday as Hoffenheim prepare to host Borussia Monchengladbach.

Alexander Prass - Provides key spark Prass generated six crosses (two accurate) and three chances created in Sunday's 1-1 draw against Borussia Dortmund.
Impact Though he did not register a goal or assist, Prass was one of the best players on the pitch for Hoffenheim against Borussia Dortmund. In 90 minutes played, the left back created three chances, accumulated 0.44 expected assists, successfully completed four of his five dribbles, and completed three of his six long ball passes. Prass has just one assist for Hoffenheim in the Bundesliga, but his advanced metrics suggests that the results will come soon enough. He will have another chance to add to his tally this Saturday against M'Gladbach.

Jacob Bruun Larsen - Provides late heroics Bruun Larsen scored one goal to go with one shot (one on goal), four crosses (zero accurate) and three corners in Sunday's 1-1 draw against Borussia Dortmund.
Impact Bruun Larsen played the role of a super sub on Sunday for Hoffenheim. In 36 minutes played, he scored one goal from his only shot (a 91st minute equalizer no less), completed his only dribble, and had four touches in the opposition's box. Despite only getting a role in the starting 11 twice in the Bundesliga, Bruun Larsen already has two goals and two assists. He will hope to provide a spark off the bench again, or potentially start this Saturday when Hoffenheim host M'Gladbach.
