Ciro Immobile - Won't return against Cagliari Immobile (thigh) "is pushing and maybe will be back with the group next week," coach Vincenzo Italiano announced.
Impact Immobile has resumed training on the side but isn't ready to be an option yet and isn't a lock to be back next week either, as it'll hinge on whether he'll indeed ramp up, but he's getting closer. Santiago Castro and Thijs Dallinga will continue alternating in the middle of the attack.
OCTOBER 18 • ROTOWIRE
Ibrahim Sulemana - Returns to full training Sulemana (knee) practiced with no limitations Monday, Bologna informed.
Impact Sulemana has recovered from a knee problem he suffered at the beginning of September, shortly after joining, and is set to be available for the first time since switching sides against Cagliari on Sunday. He'll start behind Remo Freuler, Lewis Ferguson, Nikola Moro and Tommaso Pobega in the depth chart in the midfield. He featured nine times (three starts) with Atalanta last season, scoring twice and adding five shots (two on target, one key pass and nine tackles.

Impact Lucumi didn't need to do much to help his side stymie the opponents in this one. He has gotten the nod in four straight matches, always logging at least one clearance, accumulating 20, with one interception, one block and one clean sheet. Instead, he failed to register a tackle after tallying 11 in the previous three matches (five won).
OCTOBER 6 • ROTOWIRE
Nadir Zortea - Wins two tackles in Pisa game Zortea had one shot (zero on goal), three crosses (one accurate), two clearances and two chances created in Sunday's 4-0 win against Pisa.
Impact Zortea played the whole game after Emil Holm and Lorenzo De Silvestri got minutes in the previous two matches and was fine on both ends. He'll have to split duties all season long. He has sent in at least one cross in his last five showings, totaling 10 (four accurate) and posting five key passes, six tackles (four won) and eight clearances, with two clean sheets.
OCTOBER 6 • ROTOWIRE
Juan Miranda - Solid against Pisa Miranda won three of four tackles and registered one shot (zero on goal), four crosses (zero accurate) and two corners in Sunday's 4-0 victory over Pisa.
Impact Miranda did a little bit of everything as he had room to attack, but was unable to link up with a teammate. He has been starting in Serie A, while Charalampos Lykogiannis has manned the position in the Europa League. He has launched multiple crosses in his last four appearances (three starts), piling up 20 (zero accurate), with five key passes, 13 corners and one clean sheet.
OCTOBER 6 • ROTOWIRE
Federico Bernardeschi - Productive in Pisa meeting Bernardeschi recorded one shot (zero on goal), five crosses (two accurate) and five chances created in 45 minutes in Sunday's 4-0 win versus Pisa.
Impact Bernardeschi came in for Riccardo Orsolini at halftime, as the game had already been decided, and led his club in key passes and deliveries, setting a new season high in both stats. He hadn't put up numbers in his two previous games. He'll likely stay in a backup role for the time being, as his competitors have been going strong. He has tallied five shots (two on target), 10 chances created, 11 crosses (three accurate) and two corners in the last five contests (two starts).
OCTOBER 6 • ROTOWIRE

He's behind Nicolo Cambiaghi at left winger for now, and Benjamin Dominguez is also in the mix. He has taken at least a shot in three straight fixtures, racking up seven (one accurate) and adding one key pass, four crosses (two accurate) and five tackles (three won). Impact Dalliga is still searching for his maiden goal but fed both Nicolo Cambiaghi and Jens Odgaard before their successful strikes, picking up his first two assists. He has played second fiddle to Santiago Castro so far, but has started in two of the last three matches. Ciro Immobile (thigh) could return in two weeks, potentially hurting his playing time. This was by far his most productive showing of the season. He has tallied seven shots (two on target), five key passes and two tackles in seven appearances.
OCTOBER 6 • ROTOWIRE
Nikola Moro - Buries free kick against Pisa Moro scored one goal to go with one shot (one on target), two tackles (zero won) and two chances created in Sunday's 4-0 victory versus Pisa.
Impact Moro netted the second goal for his side with a good-looking free kick from mid-range for his first goal of the season. He has alternated with Remo Freuler and Lewis Ferguson in the midfield, starting in every other game. Tommaso Pobega will also be in the mix after the break. He posted multiple tackles in every showing, totaling nine (two won) and adding five key passes, four shots (one on target) and seven clearances. Instead, his streak of performances with at least a cross and a corner ended after he recorded seven (three accurate) and eight, respectively, beforehand.
OCTOBER 6 • ROTOWIRE
Nicolo Casale - Unused after return Casale (thigh) didn't play against Freiburg and Pisa.
Impact Casale shook off a thigh problem but stayed on the bench, as he has to fight for minutes with multiple teammates who have done well so far. He appeared 15 times (nine starts) in the second half of last season, tallying 11 tackles, 17 interceptions, 42 clearances and even blocks and contributing to two clean sheets.
OCTOBER 6 • ROTOWIRE
Jens Odgaard - Strikes against Pisa Odgaard drew two fouls and scored one goal to go with two shots (one on target) and one clearance in Sunday's 4-0 victory over Pisa.
Impact Odgaard got the nod for the third time in the last four matches and found the target with an attempt from distance that was deflected by the opposing defender. He's rounding into shape after being eased into action after an off-season surgery and will be the top option at his position if he keeps it up. He has fired at least one shot in four straight fixtures, accumulating seven (four on target) and logging two key passes and three crosses (one accurate).
OCTOBER 6 • ROTOWIRE
Riccardo Orsolini - Nets in Pisa rout Orsolini scored one goal to go with four shots (two on target), one cross (zero accurate) and one chance created in Sunday's 4-0 win over Pisa.
Impact Orsolini hit the net with a customary lefty finish to round out the result in the first half. He has made the stat sheet in three straight fixtures and is already up to five goals in the season. He had yet to score, while it's his second helper. He's competing with two other players, but he has started in three of the last five games, putting up numbers in every major offensive stat in all but one appearance. He has recorded five shots (three on target), five key passes and 13 crosses (four accurate) during the recent stretch.

He has kept two clean sheets in eight matches, surrendering seven goals and making 19 saves. Bologna will face Cagliari away on October 19.

Tommaso Pobega - Unused versus Lecce Pobega (thigh) didn't play in Saturday's 2-2 draw with Lecce.
Impact Pobega returned to the squad list in a hurry but didn't get minutes right away. He'll split duties with Nikola Moro, Lewis Ferguson and Remo Freuler in the next few games, as the coach is leaning on all his options because of a busy schedule.

Impact The Bologna-Lecce game marks Holm's first for the 2025-26 Serie A. He made a significant impact by assisting Bologna's second goal, scored by Jens Odgaard. For the 2024-25 Serie A, his 21 appearances (12 starts) include one goal and one assist for two G/A. While not expected to regularly contribute in the category, perhaps Holm can play more frequently moving forward.
