Odilon Kossounou - Signs permanent deal with Atalanta Kossounou has signed with Atalanta on a permanent basis from Leverkusen following a loan spell, his former club announced Friday.
Impact Kossounou spent the 2024/25 season on loan at Atalanta and started in 12 of his 18 Serie A appearances, as well as in two of his four UCL contests. However, the Serie A side seems to have seen enough to keep him around for the long haul.

Impact Godfrey spent half of the season with Ipswich Town on loan from Atalanta, making five appearances across all competitions with limited contributions. The loan ended up not being positive for either side and the defender will head back to his parent club. He still has three years left on his contract and made only three appearances with Atalanta since joining them, so he could potentially be loaned again next season.

Impact Bellanova delivered the cross that led to Daniel Maldini's first goal in the 32nd minute. He was active on the right flank and contributed on both ends of the pitch. Bellanova had a complete season with Atalanta as he appeared in 42 games and finished with one goal and nine assists across all competitions, setting a new career high in assists with two more than last year in Serie A.

Mateo Retegui - Provides assist in early dominance Retegui provided one assist to go with three shots (three on target) and three chances created in Sunday's 3-2 defeat against Parma in the final game of the season.
Impact Retegui assisted Daniel Maldini's second goal in the 33rd minute, highlighting his playmaking ability. Impact Maldini scored twice in the 32nd and 33rd minutes to give Atalanta a 2-0 lead. His first goal came from a cross by Raoul Bellanova and the second was assisted by Mateo Retegui. Atalanta eventually suffered a comeback and conceded a stoppage-time goal to close the season with a loss. Maldini played in 30 league matches this season, 20 with Monza and 10 with Atalanta, after joining permanently during the winter transfer window. He scored six league goals, the most in a single season for the young forward, including three in the final two matches which were also his only starts with Atalanta. He'll depart as a free agent to head back to his home country in the summer. He was no longer a regular in the last couple of seasons due to his age and injury woes.
