Remains out
Al-Dakhil (hip) is out for Tuesday's match against Sparta Prague.

Al-Dakhil is nearing a return but Tuesday came too early for the defender, as he has once again been left off the team sheet. However, with the player close to full health, he does have a solid chance of making his return when facing Hoffenheim on Sunday.

Nearing return
Al-Dakhil (hip) returned to group training and is expected to return anytime now, according to his club, per George Moissidis of Kicker.
Impact
Al-Dakhil has seen a major step in his recovery program, with the defender having joined full team training. This leaves him in a great spot, as the defender could now return at any point. He has yet to debut this season due to his issues, so it will be interesting to see what role he holds with his new club, possibly pushing for starting minutes immediately.

Signs with Stuttgart
Al-Dikhil has completed a transfer to Stuttgart from Burnley, according to his new club.
Impact
Al-Dikhil is moving from England to Germany, having joined Stuttgart on a deal until 2028. He started in 12 of his 13 appearances last campaign, notching one goal, 12 tackles, 12 interceptions and 34 clearances, having his season heavily hindered due to multiple extended absences. Bags rare goal
Al-Dakhil scored one goal to go with one shot (one on goal) in Wednesday's 3-1 loss versus Manchester City.
Impact
Al-Dakhil was the only player to get on the board for Burnley on Wednesday, scoring a late consolation goal in the 93rd minute off of a David Fofana assist. It was a rare goal for the Al-Dakhil, with it being his first of the season and his first in the past two years he has spent with Burnely. The defender also was decent in the defense, notching one interception, two tackles and four clearances.

Called up by Belgium
Al-Dakhil has been called up for the Belgian national team despite being dropped by Burnley manager, and fellow Belgian, Vincent Kompany.
Impact
Al-Dakhil started each of Burnley's first 10 matches, in which he recorded 28 clearances, five shots (one on target) and two crosses (one accurate), but has been left out of the squad entirely for the club's last two contests. Despite his recent lack of club minutes, Al-Dakhil still managed to earn a call-up for the national team. If he can put together some good performances during the international break, perhaps he can work his way back into Kompany's good graces.

Starts against Brentford
Al-Dakhil (undisclosed) is in the starting lineup for Saturday's clash against Brentford.
Impact
The exact injury that was affecting Al-Dakhil was never revealed, but it seemed he managed to recover well enough during the break to be fit here. He had started and played the full 90 in each game before the clash against Chelsea on Oct. 7, when he had to leave at half time with the aforementioned injury.

Should be option at Brentford
Al-Dakhil (undisclosed) is expected to be an option Saturday against Brentford. According to manager Vincent Kompany, "Al-Dakhil had to withdraw (from Belgium international duty) b...
Impact
It's never been revealed the exact injury for Al-Dakhil, but it sounds like he should be fine for Saturday's match. He left after 45 minutes just before the break and was withdrawn from the national team, so his spot isn't guaranteed in the squad, but given the lack of injury updates, signs are that he'll be in the XI against Brentford.

Withdraws from Belgium squad
Al-Dakhil has withdrawn from international duty with Belgium due to an undisclosed injury, Matt Scrafton of Burnley Express reports.
Impact
There's no clarity on the issue that's affecting Al-Dakhil, but if it's severe enough to keep him out of the rest of the international, then he should be considered doubtful, at least, to face Brentford when the league resumes. Al-Dakhil has been a regular for The Clarets this season, starting every game and going the full 90 in seven of his eight appearances.

Starting regularly so far
Al-Dakhil has started Burnley's first three Premier League matches in 2023/24 while racking up three shots, five clearances, five interceptions and four tackles.
Impact
Al-Dakhil has started and gone the full 90 at center-back in the Clarets' three games thus far and has done a good job of racking up defensive stats on a regular basis. Burnley aren't the most encouraging team to provide value on defense, but with matches against Nottingham Forest and Luton Town on the horizon after the international break, the defender could be a decent matchup-based alternative in some formats.

Provides four clearances
Al-Dakhil generated two tackles (one won), four clearances and one interception in Friday's 3-0 loss to Manchester City.
Impact
Al-Dakhil had a rough day in the defense today, being suffocated by the press of Manchester City's tactics. He turned out to be one of Burnley's best defender on the day however, providing a team leading four clearances to go with two tackles and an interception. After only starting seven matches last season, the 21-year-old was given the start on opening day and should be a sure starter for the first couple matches of the season especially with Jordan Beyer going down with an injury.
