Struggles with injuries in first EPL campaign Isak scored 10 goals, made one assist, had 51 shots and created 16 chances over 22 appearances (17 starts) in his first campaign with Newcastle.

Impact Isak was brought from Real Sociedad as a stellar signing but could play just three times before injuries made him miss 11 matches over a two-month span. The forward still managed to score double-digit goals and be a threat playing as the lone striker or as a winger, with Callum Wilson playing alongside him. Regardless of what will be his role next season, Isak certainly had much more to showcase and a better squad around him will probably make his job even easier.
