BASKETBALL ANALYST
Jim Jackson is a college basketball game and studio analyst and NBA studio analyst for FOX Sports. He calls college hoops games on the FOX broadcast network and FS1, including the semifinals and finals of the BIG EAST tournament, as well as legendary Duke head coach Mike Krzyzewski’s 1,000th career win (Jan. 25, 2015 vs. St. John’s). Jackson also called action for FOX Sports' coverage of the BIG3, and contributes to FOX Sports’ studio coverage of college and professional hoops. Jackson’s national television broadcast career began in 2007 with Big Ten Network, the channel’s inaugural year on the air, where he regularly appeared on shows including BTN BASKETBALL & BEYOND, BTN TIP-OFF SHOW, BTN FINALE and BTN BASKETBALL REPORT.
Jackson attended Ohio State where he was a two-time All-American, two-time Big Ten Player of the Year and named National Player of the Year by United Press International in 1992. The Buckeyes retired his jersey number, 22, in 2001. Jackson was selected fourth overall by the Dallas Mavericks in the 1992 NBA Draft and played in the league for 14 seasons.
