Impact McCarron ended up with a blocked shot and three hits in just 8:26 of ice time. The 28-year-old right winger has managed just a single assist in three games overall. While McCarron did win all four of his faceoff chances, he's likely to remain in a bottom-six role.

Colton Sissons - Remains on goal-scoring tear Sissons scored his fourth goal of the season in Tuesday's 3-2 loss against the Canucks.
Impact This was likely a meaningful goal for Sissons. The North Vancouver, BC native ended up with a plus-1 rating, two shots on goal, a blocked shot and a hit in 13:05 of ice time. The Predators have a losing record through seven games, but it's no fault of Sissons. He has carried his weight, scoring four goals in the past six outings. The 29-year-old is well on his way to a third NHL campaign with a double-digit goal total.

Kiefer Sherwood - Posts second goal of campaign Sherwood posted his second goal of the season in Tuesday's 3-2 loss against the Canucks.
Impact Sherwood was helped out by Thomas Novak at 9:18 of the second period, slicing the lead to 3-2. Unfortunately for Nashville, that's how the game stayed the rest of the way. Sherwood ended up with a plus-1 rating, two shots on goal with one faceoff lost in 14:29 of ice time. The Predators are back at it on Saturday against the Maple Leafs. Sherwood has three points over the past two games, but remains in a bottom-line role and receives almost no power-play time.

Juuse Saros - Allows three goals in home loss Saros allowed three goals on 24 shots in Tuesday's 3-2 home loss against the Canucks.
Impact Saros saw his modest two-game winning streak snapped with the lack of offensive support. He has now lost four of his seven starts to date, although Nashville's offense has produced just five goals in his past three setbacks. He'll look for more support in Saturday's game against the visiting Maple Leafs.
