Chris Tanev - Hands out helper Tanev posted an assist, three blocked shots and two PIM in Saturday's 4-3 loss to the Canucks.

Impact Tanev has a goal and four assists over his last seven contests, and he's gone plus-6 with 16 blocks in that span. The 33-year-old defenseman won't keep his scoring numbers up in the long run, but his 59 blocks on the year have him in a tie for 11th in the league. He's added seven points, 23 shots on net and a plus-5 rating through 24 games.

Adam Ruzicka - Adds power-play helper Ruzicka posted a power-play assist and two shots on goal in Saturday's 4-3 loss to the Canucks.

Impact Ruzicka set up Mikael Backlund's first-period tally. The good news for Ruzicka is that he's played in 12 of the Flames' last 13 games, seemingly steadying his role as the fourth-line center. He also works on the second power-play unit, where he's earned three of his seven points through 19 outings this season. The 24-year-old has added 23 shots on net and a minus-2 rating while seeing limited ice time, so he's not much of an option for most fantasy managers.

Yegor Sharangovich - Puts up helper Sharangovich notched an assist, three shots on goal and a minus-2 rating in Saturday's 4-3 loss to the Canucks.

Impact Sharangovich snapped a three-game point drought with a helper on the first of Elias Lindholm's two goals. Since joining the top line, Sharangovich has found some stability on offense. He's picked up three goals and three assists over his last eight contests. The 25-year-old is unlikely to be among the Flames' scoring leaders, but he can be a solid secondary scorer. He's managed 11 points, 44 shots on net and a minus-7 rating through 24 outings this season.

Noah Hanifin - Garners power-play helper Hanifin managed a power-play assist and two hits in Saturday's 4-3 loss to the Canucks.

Impact Hanifin was out there on a late power play and set up Elias Lindholm's second goal of the game. The helper was Hanifin's first power-play contribution since Nov. 4. He replaced Rasmus Andersson -- who also had an assist on the play -- on the top power-play unit this week, but things likely remain in flux with the Flames struggling to produce consistent offense. Hanifin has 12 points (four on the power play), 43 shots on net, 33 blocked shots and a plus-3 rating through 24 appearances.

MacKenzie Weegar - Slings power-play assist Weegar posted a power-play assist, five shots on goal, two hits, two PIM and a minus-2 rating in Saturday's 4-3 loss to the Canucks.

Impact Weegar helped out on a Mikael Backlund tally in the first period. The 29-year-old Weegar remains hot on offense with four goals and three assists over his last nine outings. He's up to a career-high four power-play points this season. The defenseman has six goals, seven helpers, 62 shots on net, 54 blocked shots, 36 hits, 18 PIM and a minus-1 rating through 24 contests overall.

Rasmus Andersson - Nabs power-play helper Andersson recorded a power-play assist, two shots on goal, three blocked shots and a minus-2 rating in Saturday's 4-3 loss to the Canucks.

Impact Andersson snapped his three-game point drought with the secondary helper on Elias Lindholm's tally in the final minute. It's notable Andersson's assist came with the man advantage -- he was dropped from the Flames' power play altogether earlier in the week and saw just 23 seconds with the man advantage Saturday. As the team's top offensive blueliner, it's likely that change is temporary. Andersson has 12 points (three on the power play), 47 shots on net, 43 blocked shots and a minus-1 rating over 20 contests this season.

Mikael Backlund - Finds twine on power play Backlund scored a power-play goal in Saturday's 4-3 loss to the Canucks.

Impact Backlund got the Flames on the board at 12:18 of the first period with his third goal in the last five games. The center has earned nine points of his 12 points this season over his last 15 contests. He's added 60 shots on net and a plus-5 rating through 24 appearances overall. The 34-year-old is known for his second-half surges, but playing with a more talented winger in Jonathan Huberdeau over the last couple of weeks appears to have sparked Backlund's offense early this season.
