The 25-year-old has the inside track to begin the year as the Golden Knights' backup goalie, though he could lose that opportunity if the team makes a move to find a more experienced netminder to pair with Adin Hill.

Caleb Desnoyers - Sent to junior team Desnoyers (wrist) was reassigned to QMJHL Moncton on Friday.
Impact Desnoyers is no longer in the Mammoth's camp and will continue his recovery from wrist surgery with his junior club. He has not signed his entry-level contract yet. The 18-year-old was selected fourth overall in the 2025 NHL Entry Draft, so there will be high expectations for him to impress with Moncton once healthy.

Impact Wells was unable to push for a larger role with the Mammoth during camp. The 27-year-old goalie figures to spend all of 2025-26 with AHL Tucson.

Impact Walker will head to AHL Tucson's camp now. He is on a minor-league contract but could play his way into a two-way deal with a strong performance.

Austin Poganski - Reporting to Tucson Poganski was released from his tryout with the Mammoth on Friday.
Impact As expected, Poganski was unable to make the Mammoth's NHL roster. The 29-year-old winger will continue playing with Tucson on an AHL deal.
