Impact Keller played 19:47 in Seattle on Monday, logging an assist and four shots on net with no obvious issues, but he's ended up under the weather a day later. It's a tough break for Utah to be without its captain against the Oilers. His next chance to play is Thursday in Calgary.

Robert Bortuzzo - Placed on injured reserve Bortuzzo (lower body) was placed on injured reserve Tuesday, retroactive to Dec. 10.

Impact Bortuzzo has missed the last eight games due to his lower-body injury, so his move to injured reserve is procedural. Head coach Andre Tourigny said in mid-December that Bortuzzo "will miss quite a bit of time," and a timetable for the defenseman's return isn't yet known.

Jaxson Stauber - Starting in Edmonton Stauber will guard the road goal against the Oilers on Tuesday, according to Brogan Houston of Deseret News Sports.

Impact Stauber will get the second half of Utah's back-to-back after Karel Vejmelka played in Monday's 5-2 loss to Seattle. The 25-year-old Stauber has allowed only six goals on 83 shots en route to a 2-0-1 record in three NHL appearances this season. Edmonton ranks 10th in the league with 3.25 goals per game in 2024-25.

Alexander Kerfoot - Puts away goal Kerfoot scored a goal on two shots and blocked two shots in Monday's 5-2 loss to the Kraken.

Impact Kerfoot ended his month-long goal drought (11 games) with a second-period tally. He had three assists in that span while seeing bottom-six minutes as usual. The 30-year-old forward is at six goals, seven helpers, 51 shots on net, 25 blocked shots and a minus-1 rating over 36 appearances. Kerfoot can do a lot of helpful things on the ice, but rarely at a high enough volume statistically to be a factor in fantasy.

Logan Cooley - Opens scoring in loss Cooley scored a power-play goal on three shots, added two PIM and went minus-2 in Monday's 5-2 loss to the Kraken.

Impact Cooley continued his hot December with the opening goal in this contest. He has racked up three goals, nine helpers, 20 shots on net and seven power-play points over his last 12 contests. The 20-year-old center is up to nine goals, 32 points (11 on the power play), 70 shots on net, 30 hits and a plus-8 rating over 36 appearances. There's been no sophomore slump for Cooley, but he's still flying a little bit under the radar in fantasy, so go check the waiver wire.

Ryker Evans - Logs helper Evans notched an assist, two shots on goal, two hits, two blocked shots and a plus-2 rating in Monday's 5-2 win over Utah.

Impact Evans has found less success on offense in December, as his role has shrunk since Vince Dunn returned from an upper-body injury. The 23-year-old Evans managed two points with nine shots on net, 16 hits and 15 blocked shots over 11 outings for the month. Overall, he has 18 points, 39 shots on net, 56 hits, 57 blocks and a minus-2 rating through 36 contests, doubling up the point production he had in the same number of games as a rookie last year.
