Robert Bortuzzo - Will miss next two games Bortuzzo (lower body) will miss Saturday's clash in Carolina and Sunday's tilt in Washington, per Belle Fraser of The Salt Lake Tribune.
Impact Bortuzzo will participate in practices while traveling with the team, so even if he's not ready to return, at least he's making progress. After the weekend games, Utah will be on break for the 4 Nations Face-Off and return Feb. 22 versus the Kings. Bortuzzo, who last played Jan. 2, has two assists, 20 hits and 26 blocks in 16 appearances this campaign.

Jordan Harris - Nabs helper in overtime loss Harris provided an assist and two hits in Thursday's 3-2 overtime loss to Utah.
Impact Since earning an assist Jan. 4 versus the Blues, Harris has been scratched in 11 of 15 contests. The 24-year-old defenseman has been unable to claim a regular role in the Blue Jackets' lineup, though he often plays when they suit up with seven blueliners. Harris is at four points, 13 shots on net, 19 hits, 32 blocked shots and a minus-4 rating over 28 appearances.

Ivan Provorov - Nets first career shorthanded goal Provorov scored a shorthanded goal on two shots and blocked five shots in Thursday's 3-2 overtime loss to Utah.
Impact Provorov is on a tear to open February, scoring in three straight games while adding an assist, nine shots and 12 blocks. The 28-year-old's tally Thursday was the first shortie of his career, though he also has seven shorthanded assists to his name. He's up to six goals, 25 points (three on the power play, three shorthanded), 67 shots on net, 88 blocks and a plus-4 rating across 55 appearances in 2024-25.

Justin Danforth - Opens scoring Thursday Danforth scored a goal and added two hits in Thursday's 3-2 overtime loss to Utah.
Impact This was Danforth's first goal since Nov. 18. He went 18 contests without scoring, though he also missed 18 games in that span due to a lower-body injury. The 31-year-old, a natural winger, has moved to center to help the Blue Jackets while Sean Monahan (wrist) is out and Cole Sillinger is playing in a top-six role on the wing. Danforth is at 11 points, 58 shots on net, 75 hits, 35 blocked shots and a minus-9 rating over 34 appearances this season, so his fantasy upside is limited to deep formats with an emphasis on non-scoring numbers.
