He sat out the next two games due to the poor performance and will need a consistent stretch of play to earn back his status as the team's primary goalie. Impact Jarry was disappointing in the season opener against the Rangers, giving up six goals on 40 shots (.850 save percentage). It led to the 29-year-old netminder sitting the Penguins' last two contests in favor of youngster Joel Blomqvist. At this point, Jarry's hold on the No. 1 job should be considered tenuous at best, especially once Alex Nedlejkovic (lower body) is cleared to return.
