Struggles continue Jarry allowed three goals in a 3-2 overtime loss to Calgary on Tuesday.

Impact Jarry has allowed at least three goals in each of his five starts this season and is 1-2-1 with a 4.72 goals-against average and .863 save percentage overall. He was especially bad on the OT winner where he slid far out of his crease, allowing Brayden Point to simply walk around the net and stuff the puck behind him. Jarry recently returned from a stint in the AHL, but he continues to struggle. Bench him until he can get his game together.

Impact Jarry will make his fifth appearance of the season Tuesday. The 29-year-old had a rough outing in his return from a conditioning stint Friday -- he allowed five goals in a loss to Columbus. With Alex Nedeljkovic struggling, Jarry could have a chance to reclaim the No. 1 role between the pipes. Jarry will face a Lightning club putting up 3.56 goals per game through 16 contests.

Impact This is a bit of a surprise as the Penguins only gave Jarry three games this season, after he was their No. 1 goaltender the past three seasons. Impact Jarry went 1-1-0 with 12 goals allowed on 73 shots (.836 save percentage) over his first three games of the year. With the 29-year-old back in Pittsburgh, it's safe to say he won't play Friday in Edmonton or Saturday in Vancouver, but he could get a chance to get back on track as soon as Tuesday's game versus the Wild. Jarry will have his work cut out for him in regards to regaining playing time, as the Penguins still have Alex Nedeljkovic and Joel Blomqvist on the NHL roster.

The 29-year-old has an ugly 5.45 GAA and .833 save percentage through his first three appearances this season, and while a trade seems unlikely given the three years and $16.125 million left on his contract after 2024-25, Jarry's role could be in jeopardy -- especially once Alex Nedeljkovic (lower body) returns from IR.

Impact Jarry was fairly steady in his last start, stopping 24 of 27 shots (.889 save percentage) in a winning effort over the Habs on Monday. Still, it's been a less-than-stellar start to the year for the 29-year-old netminder. If he stumbles against the Sabres, it could open the door for Joel Blomqvist to get the nod versus Carolina on Friday.
