Brandon Gignac - Waived Sunday Gignac was waived Sunday, Elliotte Friedman of Sportsnet reports.

Impact Gignac accumulated 19 goals and 55 points over 61 regular-season contests for AHL Laval in 2023-24. He also earned one goal, seven shots on net, seven blocked shots and five hits in seven NHL outings with the Canadiens last campaign. Gignac will probably spend most of the upcoming season in the AHL.

Lucas Condotta - Waived by Montreal Condotta was placed on waivers for reassignment to AHL Laval on Sunday, Elliotte Friedman of Sportsnet reports.

Impact Condotta has a goal in four career NHL contests. The 26-year-old winger figures to spend most of the upcoming campaign in the AHL as a depth option for Montreal.
