Impact Tavares extended his point streak to four games with his 38th goal of the season, burying a wrister past Fredrik Andersen at the 15:43 mark of the third period. The 34-year-old veteran has cracked the scoresheet in all but two of his last 13 outings, tallying 18 points (11 goals, seven helpers), a plus-7 rating, 39 shots, 14 hits and nine blocked shots over that span.

William Nylander - Nets goal vs. Carolina Nylander scored a goal in Sunday's 4-1 win over the Hurricanes.

Impact Nylander found the back of the net with his lone shot, burying a tip-in from close range in the early stages of the third period to give Toronto a commanding 3-0 lead. The 28-year-old playmaker has reached the 80-point plateau for the fourth consecutive season, but he's not heading into the playoffs in the best stretch of form since he's recorded only five points (three goals, two assists) over his last eight appearances.

Impact Matthews snapped a three-game goal skid with a slap shot midway through the second period, giving him 31 on the year. Furthermore, this was the 399th goal of his career. While he has two games left in the regular season to reach the 400-goal plateau, he's likely to reach that historic mark during the postseason. Matthews won't reach the 80-point mark for a fourth consecutive campaign, though, so his overall numbers were a bit disappointing across the board compared to recent years.

Impact Woll was solid between the posts and got back to winning ways after dropping his previous start against the Panthers on April 8. Woll has made 10 appearances since the beginning of March, and while he's won six of those starts, his overall numbers aren't eye-popping by any means. He's gone 6-3-1 with a 3.01 GAA and a .906 save percentage. It's unclear if he'll see action in Toronto's final two games of the regular season.
