Not available against Colorado Demko won't be an option for Sunday's home matchup versus the Avalanche, according to Ben Kuzma of Postmedia.
Impact Although Demko will remain sidelined, he will potentially be available for Tuesday's home game against the Jets, per Kuzma. Kevin Lankinen is set to start again Sunday after picking up a win over Columbus on Saturday, while Jiri Patera will be the backup against Colorado. Demko last played Monday, stopping 25 of 29 shots during a 5-4 win in Nashville.

Won't dress Saturday Demko (undisclosed) won't dress for Saturday's home game against Columbus, Brendan Batchelor of Sportsnet 650 reports.
Impact Kevin Lankinen is set to get the start, and Jiri Patera will serve as the backup goaltender. Demko isn't in the lineup for what the team has termed as preventative maintenance. The 29-year-old goaltender has an extensive injury history, and presumably, the team is hoping that being cautious with Demko will ultimately lead to him avoiding any big stretches where he's unavailable this year.

NOVEMBER 8, 2025 • THEPROVINCE.COM
In doubt for back-to-back Demko is questionable to play during the Canucks' upcoming back-to-back against Columbus and Colorado on Saturday and Sunday, respectively, Jeff Paterson of CanucksArmy.com reports...
Impact Demko's potential absence was deemed preventative maintenance, given the 2025-26 schedule. Still, it will be a concern for fantasy managers and Canucks' fans alike, especially considering the netminder's recent injury woes. With Demko's availability in doubt, the team recalled Jiri Patera from the minors.

Escapes Nashville with OT win Demko turned aside 25 shots in Monday's 5-4 overtime win over the Predators.
Impact The Canucks held a 4-2 lead midway through the third period, but the homer squad struck twice in less than five minutes to tie it up, one goal coming on a re-direction by Michael Bunting and the other a power-play tally through a screen by Nick Blankenburg. Demko kept his composure though, and got rewarded when Brock Boeser found the OT winner with just two seconds left in the extra frame. Demko has given up at least three goals in five of his last seven starts, going 4-3-0 during that stretch with a 2.86 GAA and .902 save percentage.

Tending twine in Nashville Demko will be between the road pipes against the Predators on Monday, per Brooks Bratten of the Predators' official site.
Impact After starting the season with victories in three of his first four appearances, Demko has dropped back-to-back games and three of his last four. The 29-year-old has a 4-4-0 record, .917 save percentage and 2.41 GAA over eight starts. Nashville has generated 2.46 goals per game in 2025-26, which ranks 30th in the NHL. Demko made 33 saves on 25 shots in a 2-1 loss to the Predators on Oct. 23.
NOVEMBER 4, 2025 • ROTOWIRE
Worst game of season so far Demko allowed four goals on 26 shots in Saturday's 5-2 loss to the Wild. The fifth goal was an empty-netter.
Impact The Canucks are dealing with a plethora of injuries, including Quinn Hughes' lower-body ailment, which doesn't make life any easier on Demko. The Wild have had their own struggles, but they had the better of the Canucks in this one as Demko gave up a season-high four goals. On the year, Demko is at a 4-4-0 record with a 2.41 GAA and a .917 save percentage through eight appearances. He's mostly been sharing the crease with Kevin Lankinen, though it hasn't been a strict rotation, so it's not clear who will start in Nashville on Monday.
NOVEMBER 2, 2025 • ROTOWIRE
Set to start Saturday Demko is expected to start on the road against Minnesota on Saturday, according to Brendan Batchelor of Sportsnet 650.
Impact Demko has a 4-3-0 record, 2.17 GAA and .926 save percentage in seven outings in 2025-26. He stopped 23 of 24 shots in his last start Tuesday, but the Canucks didn't offer him any offensive support, resulting in a 2-0 loss to the Rangers. The Wild are 3-6-3 and tied for 26th in goals per game with 2.58.

OCTOBER 29, 2025 • NHL.COM
Gets no help in loss Demko stopped 23 of 24 shots in Tuesday's 2-0 loss to the Rangers. The second goal was an empty-netter.
Impact The Canucks pushed late in the game, but they couldn't give Demko any goal support. The 29-year-old netminder has yet to allow more than three goals in any of his seven outings this season, and this was the second time he's started consecutive contests. Demko is at 4-3-0 with a 2.18 GAA and a .926 save percentage. He'll need more help to regularly earn wins, but the California native looks to be back in peak form after an injury-riddled 2024-25. The Canucks start a three-game road trip in St. Louis on Thursday.

First goalie off Tuesday Demko was the first goalie to leave the ice Tuesday, Brendan Batchelor of Sportsnet 650 reports, indicating he'll tend the twine at home versus the Rangers.
Impact Demko will make consecutive starts for only the second time this season, having split the last eight games with Kevin Lankinen. For his part, the 29-year-old Demko is sporting a 4-2-0 record, 2.36 GAA and .922 save percentage through six appearances this year. Eventually, Demko figures to take a larger share of the workload, though Vancouver figures to take a cautious approach given the netminder's injury history.

Sherwood gets 2nd goal of game in OT as Canucks beat Oilers 4-3

Kiefer Sherwood scored his second goal of the game 1:42 into overtime and the Vancouver Canucks beat the Edmonton Oilers 4-3
OCTOBER 27, 2025 • Associated Press
Fends off Oilers in overtime win Demko stopped 26 of 29 shots in Sunday's 4-3 overtime win over the Oilers.
Impact It wasn't the prettiest performance, especially after blowing a 3-1 lead in the third period, but Demko ultimately got the job done. He's won three of his last four starts, though he has allowed three goals in three of those games. The 29-year-old goalie is at a 4-2-0 record with a 2.36 GAA and a .922 save percentage over six outings. Demko has alternated starts with Kevin Lankinen for much of the season, but the former is getting the better results and may earn a majority of the playing time. The Canucks host the Rangers on Tuesday.
OCTOBER 27, 2025 • ROTOWIRE
Starting against Edmonton Demko will start Sunday's home game against the Oilers, Jeff Paterson of CanucksArmy.com reports.
Impact Demko has alternated starts with Kevin Lankinen over the past two weeks, a trend that will continue in Sunday's matchup. Demko has gone 3-2-0 with a 2.24 GAA and .927 save percentage over his first five appearances of the 2025-26 campaign. He faced the Oilers on the road Oct. 11, turning aside 34 of 36 shots (.944 save percentage) in a 3-1 loss.
OCTOBER 27, 2025 • ROTOWIRE
Beaten twice Thursday Demko stopped 33 of 35 shots in Thursday's 2-1 loss to the Predators.
Impact It's hard to blame Demko for the outcome of this game, as the lone two goals he conceded were a shorthanded tally and a tip-in, and he also posted his second-best save output of the campaign. Through five starts, Demko owns an excellent .927 save percentage and a 2.24 GAA. His next chance to suit up will come against the Canadiens on Saturday, but it's unclear if he'll get the nod since Vancouver has been rotating goaltenders in the last few games.
