Impact Pavel Buchnevich was the only member of the Blues that lit the lamp. He converted a back door pass from Robert Thomas on an extended shift in the zone. Vasilevskiy has now won three straight games and is 15-9-1 on the season. But the pressures on him remain -- the team doesn't have a reliable back-up and at some point, that will come back to haunt them. Monitor Vasilevskiy's workload carefully. If things don't change, you will need a contingency to address exhaustion.

Impact Cirelli opened the scoring early in the first period with a backhand from in tight as he cut to the net. He had missed practice on Wednesday, but look none the worse for wear against the Blues. Cirelli breakout campaign continues. He has 28 points, including 13 goals, in 29 games, and his 51.3 face-off winning percentage is almost 2 percent improved from his career average. He's long been considered Selke Trophy material, and this could be the year he gets consideration.

Impact It was his first NHL goal. He took a pass from Nikita Kucherov, fumbled the puck into his feet and still managed to go glove shelf on Jordan Binnington. Goncalves has strong offensive instincts, but he hasn't been able to translate those skills into production from the Bolts bottom six. He has one goal, one assist and 14 shots in 18 games. There's not much fantasy value in Goncalves' game at this point in his career.

Nikita Kucherov - Longest active NHL point streak Kucherov delivered two assists in a 3-1 win over the Blues on Thursday.
Impact Kucherov's point streak now stands at nine games and 20 points, including 17 assists. Ten of the points have come with the man advantage. Kucherov has the longest current point streak in the NHL, and he sits second in NHL scoring with 49 points overall. Kucherov isn't Connor McDavid, but he is one of the most consistent performers in the NHL. He has delivered at a 1.39 point-per-game pace over his last eight seasons, and is showing no signs of slowing down.

Impact Point's scoring streak stands at seven games and 17 points (five goals, 12 assists). He's the NHL's third-highest goal scorer, but he's really shown off his playmaking on this streak. Point had five assists in his first 18 games this season. It's not especially surprising, though -- his 35.6 shooting percentage is unsustainably high, and in fact, it's 16.6 percent above his career mark (19.0). Point remains on a career pace and is headed for his first triple-digit campaign.

Impact Hedman fired one shot, blocked two shots and laid one hit in his return. Get him back in your lineup. Hedman has 25 points, including 21 helpers, in just 27 games. He could challenge for another 70-plus point season this year.

Mitchell Chaffee - First-ever power-play point Chaffee scored a power-play goal Tuesday in a 5-3 win over the Blue Jackets.
Impact It stood as the winner. It was Chaffee's first point in six games and first power-play point of the season. It was actually the first PPP of his NHL career. The bottom-six forward has 10 points in 25 games this season while averaging 13:11. Chaffee had a great night, but that doesn't make him fantasy worthy.

Impact The game was tighter than the score; the Bolts scored into an empty net to seal the win. Vasilevskiy has won two straight and four of his last five, and he now sits with a 14-9-1 record, 2.44 GAA and .910 save percentage. We love his game, but we don't love his lack of a safety net, and both the Bolts and fantasy managers may eventually pay for that. Vasilevskiy has started 24 of the Bolts' 29 games, in large part because the team doesn't trust backup Jonas Johansson. The team needs to do something to ensure Vasy isn't exhausted by this workload.

Impact It was a big night for Paul, who started the season with an outstanding October (nine points in 10 games), but had struggled to rebound after missing time with an injury. This game snapped a four-game scoreless streak. Paul is a decent mid-level fantasy contributor in deep formats, that is if this game signals a return to his potential. He won't often put up big games, but he can deliver secondary scoring.

Impact Guentzel pushed the Bolts up 3-0 in the second period when he stuffed in his own rebound from in tight. It was his seventh straight game with a goal and ninth in that span (three assists). Guentzel added another five shots to his stat pack on Tuesday, which gave him 29 on this run and 84 in 29 games this season. He's actually on pace for his first-ever 50-goal season and mid-90s point total. Steven Stamkos who? Guentzel has been an exceptional signing and great fit on the ice with the Bolts and on your squad, too.
