Lightning player angrily breaks fan’s phone after getting ejected for fighting

Tampa Bay Lightning forward J.T. Brown had a very intense night at the office on Monday. Not only did he get into a heated scrap that led to a line brawl and his ejection, but he also managed to destroy a fan's phone on the way to the locker room.

Brown was given a game misconduct for fighting toward the end of the game and he apparently wasn't in the mood to be heckled as he left the ice. This was evidenced by the fact that Brown swatted a phone out of the hands of a fan that was using it to film Brown's exit. The swipe sent the phone crashing to the tunnel floor below, shattering the screen.

The fan, who was identified by TMZ as Brendan Johansen, reportedly isn't too broken up (unlike his phone) and doesn't plan on pressing charges, but he's hoping that the Lightning will reimburse him for the shattered iPhone.
