Blake Lizotte - Capitalizes on turnover Lizotte scored a shorthanded goal on three shots in Wednesday's 2-1 loss to the Kraken.
Impact Lizotte got the puck on a turnover in the Kraken's zone and had plenty of net to hit. The 26-year-old snapped a goal drought dating back to Nov. 18 versus the Blues, which was a game in which he got hurt and missed the next six contests. Through 23 outings this season, Lizotte has five goals, four helpers, 30 shots on net and a plus-8 rating. He's earned three of his nine points while on the penalty kill.

Cam Talbot - Loses close game Talbot allowed two goals on 30 shots in Wednesday's 2-1 loss to the Kraken.
Impact Talbot lost for the fourth time in his last seven games, though he can't be blamed too much for either goal -- one on a scrambled faceoff and the other on a breakaway. Joey Daccord played excellent with 43 saves on 44 shots in the other net. Talbot dropped to 13-6-2 with an excellent 2.02 GAA and .926 save percentage through 21 appearances this season. The Kings' last game before the holiday break is a home contest versus the Flames on Saturday, one that will likely see Talbot between the pipes again.

Will Borgen - Generates helper Borgen logged an assist, two shots on goal, two PIM, six hits and a plus-2 rating in Wednesday's 2-1 win over the Kings.
Impact Borgen has six helpers over his last seven contests. The 27-year-old defenseman has played pretty steadily in a second-pairing role, though the uptick in offense is a new feature to his game. Overall, he's produced 12 helpers, 38 shots on net, 77 hits, 48 blocked shots, 18 PIM and an even plus-minus rating over 34 outings. He's on pace to best his career high of 20 points from last year, but his fantasy value remains limited to deeper formats.
