Philipp Grubauer - Slated to start Thursday Grubauer is set to start at home against Vancouver on Thursday, per Mike Benton of the Kraken Audio Network.
Impact Grubauer has a 6-9-1 record, 3.10 GAA and .889 save percentage in 18 appearances in 2023-24. He saved 26 of 27 shots en route to a 2-1 shootout win over the Islanders in his last start Feb. 13. Vancouver, which ranks third offensively with 3.67 goals per game, should prove to be a tough adversary for Grubauer.

Jamie Oleksiak - Puts end to lengthy slump Oleksiak posted an assist and blocked two shots in Monday's 4-3 overtime loss to the Red Wings.
Impact Oleksiak's offense finally showed up after a 33-game point drought. His last contribution was Nov. 22 in a two-assist game versus the Sharks. The 31-year-old defenseman is usually good for a couple of small surges during the season, but he's been almost exclusively a defensive presence in 2023-24. Oleksiak has nine points, 80 shots on net, 75 hits, 127 blocked shots and a plus-5 rating over 55 appearances.

Andre Burakovsky - Chips in with assist Burakovsky notched a power-play assist and three shots on goal in Monday's 4-3 overtime loss to the Red Wings.
Impact Burakovsky ended a seven-game point drought when he assisted on Jared McCann's first-period marker. The 29-year-old Burakovsky has now gone 14 games without a goal, logging just three assists in that span. He's been in a second-line role for a majority of that time, but the Kraken's offense hasn't been all that consistent. Burakovsky has just seven points and 34 shots on net through 24 appearances this season, making him a major disappointment for fantasy managers that thought he could bounce back after an injury-shortened 2022-23 campaign.

Yanni Gourde - Ends slump with assist Gourde notched an assist, six shots on goal and three blocked shots in Monday's 4-3 overtime loss to the Red Wings.
Impact Gourde snapped a six-game slump with his helper on a Jaden Schwartz tally in the third period. The 32-year-old Gourde has endured a down year on offense with 21 points, 113 shots on net, 93 hits, 52 PIM and a minus-4 rating through 53 appearances. He'd need a massive surge to get back to the 48-point mark he posted in his first two years with the Kraken, and that's unlikely to happen with him firmly in a third-line role.

Vince Dunn - Mixed results in overtime loss Dunn notched a power-play assist, two shots on goal and a minus-2 rating in Monday's 4-3 overtime loss to the Red Wings.
Impact Dunn set up the first of Jared McCann's two goals in the contest. Things didn't stay positive for Dunn, as his giveaway and lack of hustle allowed the Red Wings to get the win in overtime. The defenseman has five helpers over his last nine outings and now has 40 points, 106 shots on net, 52 blocked shots, 52 PIM and 32 hits through 51 appearances this season. Fantasy managers can be happy with his offense, which has him in a position to come near the 64-point campaign he posted in 2022-23.

Will Borgen - Dishes pair of assists in OT loss Borgen notched two assists, two shots on goal and a plus-2 rating in Monday's 4-3 overtime loss to the Red Wings.
Impact Borgen has three points over his last four games, but this was his first multi-point effort since Jan. 9. The 27-year-old defenseman doesn't often pile up the points, but that hasn't stopped him from maintaining a second-pairing role all season. He's matched his career high with 20 points through 55 outings this season after needing all 82 games to hit that mark in 2022-23. Borgen has added 56 shots on net, 51 PIM, 71 blocked shots, 134 hits and a plus-2 rating in 2023-24.

Jaden Schwartz - Forces overtime Monday Schwartz scored a goal on six shots in Monday's 4-3 overtime loss to the Red Wings.
Impact The tally snapped a six-game point drought for Schwartz. It also helped the Kraken salvage a standings point Monday in a game where they never saw a lead. Despite his slump, Schwartz has remained on the second line. He's at 11 goals, 22 points, 83 shots on net, 32 hits and a minus-14 rating through 39 contests overall. He'll need to show more on offense to be trusted in most fantasy formats.

Jared McCann - Pots pair in loss McCann scored twice on Monday in a 4-3 overtime loss to the Red Wings.
Impact McCann has been hot as of late and he did not disappoint on Monday. After Moritz Seider found the back of the net to open the scoring, McCann answered the bell with one of his own on an absolute rocket slapper on the power play from just inside the faceoff dot. The Red Wings took the lead again in the second period and this time he outworked the Detroit defenseman in the goalie crease to shove the puck five-hole past net-minder Alex Lyon for his 24th of the year. He also added six shots on net and a plus-1 rating in 17:52 TOI. In the past 15 games for the Kraken, the 27-year old winger has 10 goals, nine assists and is looking to surpass his 40 goals from one season ago.

Joey Daccord - Loses in overtime Daccord kicked out 28 of 32 shots in a 4-3 overtime loss to the Red Wings on Monday.
Impact The game was scoreless late in the third period when Moritz Seider fired a slap shot from just inside the blue line to beat Daccord - it was one of only six shots all period from Detroit. Lucas Raymond and Daniel Sprong each potted one of their own in the second period. It seemed destined for a Red Wings regulation win until Jaden Schwartz got the game-tying goal in the third to put the game into overtime. Ben Chiarot ended it on a wrister for a Detroit win in the extra frame on assists from Dylan Larkin and Lucas Raymond. Daccord has grasped the No. 1 goalie position for Seattle, starting 10 out of their last 11 games, but he has only posted three wins over that span.

That snapped a three-start losing streak for the 27-year-old netminder, but his lack of results recently has mostly been due to the Kraken's offensive struggles.
