Tanner Laczynski - Lands on waivers Laczynski was placed on waivers by the Golden Knights on Sunday, per Elliotte Friedman of Sportsnet.

Impact Laczynski had a strong preseason with his new club, but he'll have a better chance at an opportunity if he is claimed on waivers. The 27-year-old signed a two-year contract with Vegas in July, and he'll head to AHL Henderson if he clears the waiver wire. Laczynski produced 44 points in 49 regular-season contests with AHL Lehigh Valley in 2023-24.

Jonas Rondbjerg - Lands on waiver wire Rondbjerg was placed on waivers by the Golden Knights on Sunday, Elliotte Friedman of Sportsnet reports.

Impact Rondbjerg made 20 regular-season appearances for the Golden Knights last year and recorded a goal and three points while averaging 11:17 of ice time. Assuming he clears waivers, he'll likely spend most of this year in the AHL.

Zach Aston-Reese - Waived by Vegas Aston-Reese was placed on waivers by the Golden Knights on Sunday, Elliotte Friedman of Sportsnet reports.

Impact Aston-Reese pushed for a fourth-line role with the Golden Knights following a strong preseason performance, but he'll be left off the team's Opening Night roster. If he clears waivers, he should head to the AHL to begin the regular season.

Jimmy Schuldt - Loaned to AHL affiliate Schuldt was sent back to AHL San Jose on Sunday.

Impact Schuldt recorded five goals and 24 points in 68 regular-season contests for AHL Coachella Valley in 2023-24. The 29-year-old blueliner will probably spend most, if not all, of the 2024-25 campaign in the minors.

Impact White registered five goals and five assists in 21 games for AHL Wilkes-Barre/Scranton during the 2023-24 regular season. However, he didn't record a point in 17 NHL regular-season outings with Montreal. He has an AHL-only deal with the Barracuda for the 2024-25 campaign.

Nolan Burke - Back to AHL Burke was assigned to AHL San Jose on Sunday.

Impact Burke had five goals and 15 points in 47 games with ECHL Atlanta in the 2023-24 regular season. The 21-year-old forward will probably spend most of the 2024-25 with San Jose's top minor-league affiliate in the AHL.

Brayden McNabb - Chips in with pair of assists McNabb logged two assists, two hits and two PIM in Saturday's 6-5 preseason loss to the Sharks.

Impact McNabb isn't known for his offense, but he was able to contribute in the Golden Knights' preseason finale. Last year saw the defenseman record a career-best 26 points and 207 blocked shots while adding 148 hits and a plus-18 rating over 82 contests. The 33-year-old's physicality may continue to drop as he ages, and if he remains on the third pairing for most of 2024-25, he'll have a tough time getting back to the 20-point mark.
