Samuel Blais - Returning to NHL Blais has been recalled from AHL Laval by the Canadiens, the team announced Sunday.
Impact Blais is back in the NHL for the first time since returning to the Canadiens via waivers from Toronto. The 29-year-old appeared in eight games this season with the Maple Leafs, registering a goal and two assists. Blais will likely draw into the lineup right away given the multitude of injuries to the Montreal forward group.

Juraj Slafkovský - Scores power-play goal Slafkovsky scored a power-play goal in Saturday's 4-0 win over the Penguins.
Impact Slafkovsky broke the deadlock for Montreal with a snap shot at the 16:41 mark of the first period. This goal also ended a prolonged eight-game slump for Slafkovsky, whose previous goal had come against the Jets on Dec. 3. Impact Anderson came through late in the game for the Canadiens, giving Montreal a 3-0 lead with a shortie at the 12:14 mark of the final frame and later tallying an empty-netter with a wrister at 17:02. Impact Fowler was excellent between the posts and cruised to the first shutout of his career. He has recorded at least 30 saves in two of his first outings this season, and while he's been very inconsistent, he's a reliable backup for the time being. He's not expected to remain with the Canadiens for much longer, though, as he's likely to return to the AHL after Sam Montembeault returns from his conditioning assignment with AHL Laval, a move that's expected to occur Sunday.

Stuart Skinner - Allows three goals Saturday Skinner stopped 17 of 20 shots in Saturday's 4-0 loss to the Canadiens. The fourth goal was an empty-netter in the final period.
Impact Skinner is yet to record his first win since being traded from the Oilers to the Penguins earlier this month. In his two starts with Pittsburgh, the 27-year-old has stopped 34 of 42 shots, which translates to a disappointing .810 save percentage.
