Impact Acciari has played in four of five games for the Penguins to begin the year, though he is likely to rotate in and out of the lineup throughout the campaign. The 33-year-old has a helper, four shots on net, nine hits, four blocked shots and a plus-1 rating. Acciari's defensive acumen has some value, as does his experience, but the Penguins are looking to see what they can get out of their younger players, which could end up limiting his playing time.

Bryan Rust - Helpers in consecutive contests Rust notched a power-play assist and five shots on goal in Thursday's 4-2 win over the Kings.
Impact Rust has a helper in each of the last two games, accounting for all of his offense through three contests. He missed two games due to a lower-body injury at the start of the season. Rust has supplied nine shots on net, seven blocked shots and an even plus-minus rating and looks to be a lock on the first line and top power-play unit.

Impact Wotherspoon has filled a top-four role to start 2025-26, but this was his first contribution on offense. The 28-year-old has added four shots on net, seven hits, six blocked shots, six PIM and a minus-1 rating while primarily playing alongside Erik Karlsson. Wotherspoon had a total of 15 points over 96 regular-season outings with the Bruins in the previous two campaigns, so he's unlikely to generate enough offense to help in most fantasy formats even if he ends up with a career year.

Impact Hallander scored his first NHL goal, and it was a big one. He tallied at 6:50 of the third period while the Penguins were shorthanded, and his goal stood as the game-winner. The 25-year-old has contributed two points with six shots and a plus-1 rating across four appearances this season. While he's not standing out all that much, he's doing enough to maintain a place in the Penguins' bottom six.

Crosby will look to keep his offense rolling in San Jose on Saturday.

Arturs Silovs - Rebounds with second win Silovs stopped 30 of 32 shots in Thursday's 4-2 win over the Kings.
Impact Silovs was torched for six goals in his last start, but he bounced back well in this outing. Both goals allowed came within the first 10 minutes before the Latvian netminder settled in to allow the Penguins to make a comeback. Silovs has given up eight goals on 87 shots while going 2-1-0 through three starts this season. He's split the crease evenly with Tristan Jarry, and if that continues, Jarry would play Saturday in San Jose before Silovs gets the nod at home versus the Canucks on Tuesday.
