Thomas Novak - Goal, assist in win Novak scored a goal on two shots and added an assist in Tuesday's 5-1 win over the Hurricanes.
Impact Novak earned his first multi-point effort since Dec. 16. The 28-year-old is building chemistry centering Anthony Mantha and Justin Brazeau, though Novak is a placeholder in that spot until Evgeni Malkin (upper body) can return. Novak has contributed seven goals, 13 assists, 57 shots on net and a plus-1 rating through 38 outings this season.

Impact That's six points, including four goals, over the last three games for Brazeau. Brazeau is up to a career-high 12 goals and has added eight assists, 42 shots on net, 40 hits, 18 blocked shots and a plus-4 rating over just 24 appearances this season. Impact Karlsson assisted Anthony Mantha's power-play goal in the first period and also set up Tommy Novak's strike in the second frame. The 35-year-old veteran is on pace to reach the 50-point plateau if he stays healthy, as he has 28 points (three goals, 25 assists) in 38 games this season.

Anthony Mantha - Scores twice vs. Canes Mantha scored two goals, including one on the power play, in Tuesday's 5-1 win over the Hurricanes.
Impact Mantha found the back of the net late in the first and second periods, with his goal in the first frame coming on the power play. Mantha has posted back-to-back multi-point games and has five points over his past three contests, tallying four goals and an assist over that stretch. The 31-year-old forward is playing in a top-six role and also sees time on the power play, so even though he's not the most prolific forward, he should continue to see lots of opportunities to produce. Impact Dewar departed Monday's practice early due to an injury, but he's seemingly no worse for wear ahead of Tuesday's contest. The Manitoba native has contributed six goals, 12 points, 69 hits and 55 shots on net over 37 appearances in 2025-26.

Yegor Chinakhov - Traded Monday Chinakhov was acquired by Pittsburgh from Columbus on Monday in exchange for Danton Heinen, a 2026 second-round pick and a 2027 third-round selection.
Impact Chinakhov had three goals, six points, six PIM, 36 shots and 28 hits in 29 appearances with Columbus in 2025-26 before the trade. He was averaging just 10:18 of ice time, which was down from 15:43 during the 2024-25 regular season.
