Impact Broberg played in just 12 NHL games for the Oilers last season, registering two assists, four hits and six shots in 11:37 of ice time per game. With his new team, the blueliner should have the opportunity to compete for regular minutes, though he will face tough competition from the likes of Scott Perunovich and Pierre-Olivier Joseph -- not to mention veteran Ryan Suter.

Impact Broberg played in just 12 regular-season contests with the Oilers last year in which he notched two assists, four hits, and six shots while averaging 11:37 of ice time. In the minors, the 23-year-old blueliner was significantly more productive with 38 points in 49 outings for AHL Bakersfield. The Oilers will have seven days to match the Blues' offer in order to retain Broberg.

The defenseman has added 17 blocked shots and six shots on net while seeing bottom-four minutes and minimal power-play time.
