Falls to Wild Mrazek gave up three goals on 27 shots in Sunday's 4-2 loss to the Wild. The fourth goal was an empty-netter.

Impact Mrazek lost for the fourth time in his last six games, and he's allowed at least three goals in five of those outings. The 32-year-old didn't get any help over the first two periods Sunday, and the Blackhawks' comeback effort fell short in the third. Mrazek is now 9-17-2 with a 3.26 GAA and an .895 save percentage over 29 starts this season. The Blackhawks embark on a brutal three-game road trip over the next week, beginning with Tuesday's game against the Lightning followed by matchups with the Hurricanes on Thursday and the Panthers on Saturday.

Impact Mrazek had to settle with another loss, his third across his last four outings, but he shouldn't get much of the blame for the outcome of the contest based on his workload. The 44 saves were a season-high mark by a wide margin, and it's also worth noting Mrazek has recorded a save percentage of .910 or higher in three of his last five starts. The record doesn't back him up, as he's gone 2-2-1 with a 3.41 GAA in that span.

Tending twine against Carolina Mrazek will start Monday's home game against the Hurricanes, Mark Lazerus of The Athletic reports.

Impact Mrazek will be between the pipes for the fifth time over Chicago's last seven games. Across his last four starts, he's gone 2-2-0 with a 3.27 GAA and .903 save percentage. The Hurricanes will present a tough test Monday, as they're tied for sixth in the NHL with 3.30 goals per game.

Impact Mrazek was coming off back-to-back losses, against Detroit and Calgary, in his previous two outings but bounced back here. Mrazek has allowed three or more goals in six of his last seven appearances, a span in which he's gone 2-5-0 with a 4.47 GAA and an .861 save percentage.

Impact Mrazek has an 8-16-1 record, 3.24 GAA and .893 save percentage in 26 appearances in 2024-25. He's allowed nine goals on 63 shots (.857 save percentage) while losing his past two starts. Vegas is tied for fourth in goals per game with 3.38.

Impact While Mrazek couldn't really be faulted for any of the pucks that got past him, it was still another rough night for the 32-year-old netminder. Since returning from a groin strain in late December, he's given up at least four goals in five of six outings, stumbling to a 1-5-0 record with a 4.75 GAA and .850 save percentage over that stretch. Arvid Soderblom hasn't been much better during that span, but Mrazek's hold on the top job in the Chicago crease appears increasingly tenuous.

Impact Mrazek was stellar Wednesday, stopping 35 shots in a 3-1 win over Colorado, halting a personal six-game losing streak. Mrazek is 8-14-1 for the lowly Blackhawks, with a 3.13 GAA and an .897 save percentage across 24 appearances this season. The Red Wings are averaging 2.73 goals per game in 2024-25.

Finally back in win column Mrazek made 35 saves in Wednesday's 3-1 win over the Avalanche.

Impact Juuso Parssinen opened the scoring for Colorado early in the first period with an end-to-end rush that he finished by slipping a backhander past Mrazek inside the near post, but the veteran goalie slammed the door shut the rest of the way. It was Mrazek's first win since Nov. 27, ending a skid that had seen him go 0-6-0 over his prior seven appearances with a brutal 4.97 GAA and .834 save percentage while also missing time due to a groin strain. While victories will be hard to come by with Chicago, a healthy Mrazek is at least capable of posting better ratios.

Impact Mrazek missed a couple weeks to injury prior to the holiday break, but a return to good health hasn't changed his fate. He hasn't won since Nov. 27 (0-6-0 in seven starts), and he's allowed 27 goals in that span. Mrazek has been excellent at times this season, but he needs to be that every game to help his mates win.
