Impact After missing Sunday's practice following his injury in Saturday's tilt with Calgary, it appears that Laine will miss Game 2 on Monday. Unfortunately, there won't be much time for him to bounce back as Game 3 quickly follows on Tuesday. There should be an update on his status before Tuesday's game.

Impact Laine suffered the injury in Saturday's loss to Calgary. While the extent of the injury is still unknown, his absence from practice is not an encouraging sign. His status for Monday's Game 2 contest against the Flames is still questionable.

Held off scoresheet in return Ehlers (undisclosed) had two shots on goal, three hits and a minus-1 rating in 16:34 of ice time during Saturday's 4-1 loss to the Flames in Game 1 of the Stanley Cup Qualifiers.
Impact Ehlers wasn't able to make an impact on the scoresheet in his return to action. He didn't end up missing any games after exiting Wednesday's exhibition match versus the Canucks. The Danish winger may be in line for bigger minutes in Monday's Game 2 if Patrik Laine (wrist) can't play.

Exits with injury in third period Laine left Saturday's game against the Flames with an apparent wrist or hand injury in the third period, Ken Wiebe of Sportsnet reports.
Impact Laine got into a collision with Flames defenseman Mark Giordano, and the two exchanged jabs after the play. Laine then went down the tunnel and was unable to return to the contest. The Finn was the second Jet to get injured Saturday, after Mark Scheifele (leg) exited the contest in the first period. It's unclear if Laine will be able to play in Game 2 on Monday -- if not, Jansen Harkins or Gabriel Bourque may enter the lineup. After the game, head coach Paul Maurice indicated Laine would see a specialist Sunday to assess the injury, Mitchell Clinton of JetsTV reports.
