Impact Korpisalo's won his last two starts, including a 21-save effort against Montreal on Thursday. Still, the 29-year-old netminder is 9-15-0 with a subpar .885 save percentage and 3.63 GAA this season. He'll face a Winnipeg team that's averaging 3.33 goals per game.

Shane Pinto - Inks one-year deal Pinto (suspension) secured a one-year, $775,000 contract with Ottawa on Friday.

Impact Pinto was no doubt hoping for a bigger contract when he opted to hold out at the start of the 2023-24 campaign but the situation was complicated by his 41-game suspension. With the restricted free agent now under contract, he should rejoin the lineup against the Flyers on Sunday after serving out his ban. An injury to Josh Norris (upper body) could see Pinto thrust into a top-six role in his return to the lineup.

Artem Zub - Picks up two assists Thursday Zub recorded two assists in Thursday's 6-2 win over the Canadiens.

Impact The 28-year-old blueliner collected a helper on first-period goals by Brady Tkachuk and Tim Stutzle. Zub has five assists in the last three games, but he has only one other multi-point performance on the season, and he's unlikely to work his way into power-play time on a roster that's already juggling Jake Sanderson, Thomas Chabot and Jakob Chychrun. Zub's sudden surge of production is nice, but it probably isn't sustainable.

Brady Tkachuk - Two points against Habs Tkachuk produced a goal and an assist while adding a team-high six shots on goal, four hits and a plus-1 rating in Thursday's 6-2 win over the Canadiens.

Impact The 24-year-old winger opened the scoring midway through the first period before helping to set up Vladimir Tarasenko late in the second. Tkachuk has delivered three straight multi-point performances, and over the last 12 games he's piled up five goals and 15 points along with 46 shots on net, 32 hits and 14 PIM.

Korpisalo has won two straight starts after losing three straight, and his season continues to be frustratingly inconsistent. Since the beginning of December, he's gone 4-10-0 with a 3.85 GAA and .871 save percentage.
