Tyler Toffoli - Back in action Thursday Toffoli will return to the lineup Thursday versus Calgary after missing one game with an illness.
Impact Toffoli will finally reunite with Jack Hughes, who has missed the last 11 games with an upper-body injury. They will be joined by Alexander Holtz on the third line. Toffoli will see first-unit power-play time. Toffoli has 21 goals and 34 points in 47 games this season. Look for Max Willman to be taken out of the lineup with the return of Toffoli.

Impact Vanecek will be between the pipes for his fifth straight contest despite posting a 3.35 GAA and .901 save percentage in his last four outings. Still, the 28-year-old backstop walked away with a 2-1-0 record and seems to have retaken the starting job from Nico Daws.

Impact The New Jersey superstar has missed the last 11 games and will see time alongside Tyler Toffoli (illness) and Alexander Holtz in even-strength situations. Kevin Bahl - Records assist Tuesday Bahl produced an assist, two shots on goal and two PIM in Tuesday's 5-3 win over the Avalanche.
Impact Bahl has warmed up a bit lately, earning three helpers over his last six outings, though he's also gone minus-1 in that span. The 23-year-old defenseman has seen top-four minutes as the Devils deal with a handful of injuries on the blue line, but Bahl remains more of a physical presence. For the season, he's managed eight assists, 40 shots on net, 39 PIM, 86 hits, 57 blocked shots and an even plus-minus rating through a career-high 48 games.

Impact Since the start of January, Nemec has a goal and eight assists over 13 contests. The defenseman had a shot tipped in by Chris Tierney in the first period of Tuesday's win. Nemec has slotted right into a top-four role as a rookie, earning 14 points, 33 shots on net, 44 blocked shots, 12 PIM and a minus-6 rating over 27 appearances. With Dougie Hamilton (pectoral) out for at least another six weeks, Nemec should continue to see big minutes and power-play time.

Nico Hischier - Dishes pair of helpers Hischier notched two assists and blocked four shots in Tuesday's 5-3 win over the Avalanche.
Impact Hischier bookended the All-Star break with a pair of two-assist games. He set up goals by Jesper Bratt and John Marino in Tuesday's contest, with Marino's tally being the game-winner. Hischier had 11 points over 12 outings in January and isn't slowing down to start February. He's at 30 points, 74 shots on net, 24 blocked shots and a plus-1 rating through 37 contests overall. Hischier should continue to thrive in a top-six role, though it wouldn't be surprising for Jack Hughes' (upper body) return to take a chunk out of Hischier's offense.

Chris Tierney - Tips in goal Tierney scored a goal in Tuesday's 5-3 win over the Avalanche.
Impact Tierney got a piece of a Simon Nemec shot for the Devils' first tally. After spending large portions of the first half of the season a healthy scratch, Tierney has played in 15 straight games while providing five points in that span. That's all of his offense through 28 outings, and he's added 16 shots on net, 10 hits and a plus-2 rating. Tierney could return to being a healthy scratch once Tyler Toffoli (illness) and Jack Hughes (upper body) are back in action.
