Luke Hughes - Will make return Saturday Hughes (groin) will draw back into the lineup Saturday, per Amanda Stein of the Devils' official site.
Impact Hughes missed Friday's 4-0 loss to the Jets due to the injury. He has six goals and 38 points in 64 outings in 2024-25. Now that he's back, Hughes is likely to serve in a top-four capacity and on the first power-play unit. Dennis Cholowski will be a healthy scratch.

Jacob Markstrom - Starting in Minnesota Markstrom will defend the road net versus the Wild on Saturday, according to Amanda Stein of the Devils' official site.
Impact Markstrom will get the second half of New Jersey's back-to-back after Jake Allen played in Friday's 4-0 loss to Winnipeg. The 35-year-old Markstrom is coming off a 21-save effort in Wednesday's 5-3 win over Chicago. He has a 23-14-6 record with three shutouts, a 2.51 GAA and a .900 save percentage across 44 appearances this season. Minnesota ranks 28th in the league with 2.70 goals per game in 2024-25.

Impact Hughes was held out of Friday's 4-0 loss to Winnipeg because of the injury. He has six goals, 38 points, 100 shots, 18 hits and 58 blocks in 64 outings in 2024-25. Dennis Cholowski will probably be a healthy scratch Saturday if Hughes is able to return.
