Impact The 28-year-old center hadn't even produced a multi-point game this season prior to Wednesday, but Kunin took full advantage of the absence of most of Florida's big names in a regular-season finale that had nothing on the line for either team but draft lottery slotting. Kunin managed four goals and 10 points in 62 contests during his first season with the Panthers while adding 123 hits and 47 PIM, and he'll head into free agency this spring looking to land a bottom-six role somewhere.

Garners helper in shootout loss Kunin notched an assist and two hits in Tuesday's 4-3 shootout loss to the Canadiens.

Impact Kunin was back in the lineup Tuesday after being a scratch Sunday versus the Penguins. The 28-year-old could exit again once Matthew Tkachuk (personal) rejoins the team. Kunin snapped a 10-game point drought and is now at six points, 43 shots on net, 110 hits, 44 blocked shots, 45 PIM and a minus-8 rating over 58 appearances this season.

Impact Kunin was sent down to Charlotte on Monday after passing through waivers. He had two goals and two assists in 44 games with the Panthers this season. Kunin had a pair of helpers Friday, in his lone game with the AHL Checkers.

Impact Kunin signed with the Panthers in free agency this past offseason, but it hasn't worked out too well. The 28-year-old has just four points (two goals, two assists) in 44 games on the season. If he clears waivers, he could be assigned to AHL Charlotte, but Kunin hasn't played a minor-league game since the 2018-19 season.
