On ice Wednesday Beecher (undisclosed) was skating with other veterans ahead of Bruins' development camp Wednesday, Scott McLaughlin of WEEI reports.

Impact Beecher, with his new contract in hand, has resumed skating following an April surgery to address a minor, undisclosed injury. In his 78 regular-season games last year, the 24-year-old center notched three goals and eight helpers. Looking ahead to 2025-26, Beecher figures to remain in a bottom-six role and will be hard-pressed to put up more than 20 points.

Inks one-year contract Beecher (undisclosed) penned a one-year, $900,000 contract with Boston on Monday.

Impact Beecher recorded three goals and eight helpers in 78 regular-season games for the Bruins this season. With a new contract in hand, the 24-year-old center figures to be a fourth-line staple for the Bruins this season -- though he could move up if there are injury concerns at the center position. Despite offseason surgery for an undisclosed injury, Beecher is expected to be healthy for the start of the 2025-26 campaign.

Impact Beecher had three goals, 11 points, 26 PIM, 85 hits and 71 blocks across 78 outings with the Bruins in 2024-25. It's not clear if the 24-year-old's injury will impact their summer training or their availability for the start of the preseason. In the event that he's healthy, Beecher should start 2025-26 in a bottom-six role.

Impact During that stretch, Beecher has seven shots on net, eight PIM, a minus-6 rating, 10 hits and 11 blocked shots. He's filling a bottom-six role, so the lack of offense isn't a total surprise, but he can do better than he has lately. Overall, Beecher is at nine points, 34 shots on net, 64 hits, 51 blocks and a minus-7 rating through 58 appearances.

The 23-year-old forward has added 54 hits, 40 blocked shots, 27 shots on net and a minus-1 rating while filling a fourth-line role.

Impact Beecher recorded the primary assist on Mark Kastelic's fourth goal of the season in the opening stanza. The helper snapped a seven-game point drought for Beecher, but he hasn't found the back of the net since Oct. 16. The 23-year-old has chipped in two goals, six helpers and a plus-3 rating through 33 contests. Beecher won't offer much fantasy value outside of deeper leagues that offer non-scoring production.

Impact Beecher was a pleasant surprise in the first couple weeks of the season, but he's contributed no points since his assist Oct. 26 versus the Maple Leafs. The 23-year-old has two goals, six points, 14 shots on net, 28 hits, 24 blocked shots and a plus-2 rating over 21 appearances, and he was scratched versus the Blues on Nov. 16. Beecher is still good enough to hold down a fourth-line role, but he's not a fantasy factor now that his offense has dried up.
