Nurmi should continue to play a significant role for London for the remainder of the campaign.

Impact Nurmi is now at eight goals and seven assists, along with a plus-8 rating, over 12 appearances for the Knights. The Finnish winger has quickly gotten his game on track in the OHL after struggling to the tune of two points in 12 games for ECHL Worcester. The 20-year-old will likely be expected to make the jump to the AHL in 2026-27.

The Islanders prospect wasn't quite ready for the professional ranks this season, but he'll likely start 2026-27 with the club's AHL affiliate.

Impact Nurmi signed an entry-level contract in June after playing in Finland last season. The 19-year-old will make the jump to North America by joining a junior club. He is still at least a couple of seasons away from making an NHL impact.
