Gearing up Monday
DeBrusk (not injury related) will play in Monday's game versus the Flyers, Fluto Shinzawa of The Athletic reports.
Impact
DeBrusk cleared the NHL's COVID-19 protocol Sunday and is ready to make his first appearance since March 18. The 24-year-old winger is having a down year, as he's produced three goals and four assists across 21 games this year. DeBrusk is expected to skate with Charlie Coyle and Zachary Senyshyn on the third line Monday.

Clears protocol
DeBrusk cleared the NHL's COVID-19 protocol Sunday, Renaud Lavoie of TVA Sports reports.
Impact
DeBrusk has been out since March 18, so he'll likely stay on non-roster injured reserve as he ramps up his conditioning. The 24-year-old was off to a slow start before his stint in protocol, as he posted just seven points through the first 21 games while averaging 15:08 of ice time.

Getting closer to return
DeBrusk remains on the NHL's COVID list, but is "getting closer" to returning to action according to coach Bruce Cassidy, Eric Russo of the Bruins' official site reports.
Impact
With that in mind, it's possible that DeBrusk could return to practice later this week, but at this stage there's still not a clear timetable for his return to Boston's lineup.

Remains sidelined
DeBrusk remains in the NHL's COVID protocols, Eric Russo of the Bruins' official site reports.
Impact
As a result, DeBrusk will not be available for Thursday's game against the Islanders and it's unclear when he'll be cleared to return to the ice. In 21 games to date, DeBrusk has produced modest numbers, having recorded three goals and seven points in that span.

Still in COVID protocol
DeBrusk remains on the NHL's COVID-19 protocols list, Joe Haggerty of BostonHockeyNow.com reports.
Impact
The same applies to fellow forward Sean Kuraly, which clouds the duo's availability for Thursday night's scheduled game against the Islanders. DeBrusk is off to a slow start this season, with three goals and seven points in 21 games to date, but it is worth noting that two of those tallies have come over the winger's last four outings.
