MacKenzie Entwistle - Put on waivers Entwistle was placed on waivers by Florida on Wednesday, per Renaud Lavoie of TVA Sports
Impact Entwistle is expected to report to AHL Charlotte if he goes unclaimed. He managed two points in seven games with the Checkers last season, before scoring a pair of goals and adding an assist in the AHL Playoffs. With 193 NHL games under his belt, all with Chicago, he'll certainly be an option for Florida if they find themselves in need of forward depth.

Wilmer Skoog - Placed on waivers Skoog was put on waivers by Florida on Wednesday, Renaud Lavoie of TVA Sports reports.
Impact Skoog had nine goals, 24 points and 63 PIM in 72 regular-season outings with AHL Charlotte in 2024-25. The 26-year-old hasn't made his NHL debut, and there's no guarantee that it will come this campaign. Look for him to rejoin the Checkers if he clears waivers.

Nolan Foote - On waivers Wednesday Foote was placed on waivers by Florida on Wednesday, Renaud Lavoie of TVA Sports reports.
Impact Foote's demotion will open the door for Tyler Motte to turn his PTO into a full NHL contract, though that's far from a guarantee. For his part, the 24-year-old Foote managed just one helper in seven regular-season appearances for the Devils last year. The Denver native should earn a call-up at some point during the upcoming campaign but is unlikely to become a full-time NHL player.
