Impact Soderblom was also scratched seven times in that span, though he's played every game since Jan. 10. The Red Wings have some depth players in the AHL that could get a look over Soderblom following the Olympic break. The 24-year-old has had a brutal season with just three points, 42 shots on net, 62 hits and a minus-4 rating over 38 appearances in a fourth-line role, which isn't going to cut it for a team with playoff aspirations.

James van Riemsdyk - Back on scoresheet Wednesday van Riemsdyk recorded an assist in Wednesday's 4-1 loss to the Mammoth.

Impact van Riemsdyk slid the primary helper on Dylan Larkin's lone goal for Detroit. With the apple, van Riemsdyk is up to 11 assists, 25 points, 82 shots on net and 23 blocked shots through 49 games this season. The 17-year NHL veteran has been a steady source of secondary offense for the Red Wings all season. He has particularly excelled since the calendar turned to 2026, scoring five goals and accumulating 14 points across 17 games. He holds strong streaming value in deep fantasy leagues once the Red Wings return to action following the Olympic break.

Dylan Larkin - Nets power-play goal Wednesday Larkin scored a power-play goal, placed two shots on net, served two PIM and dished out three hits in Wednesday's 4-1 loss to Utah.

Impact Larkin tallied the lone goal of the game on a power play for Detroit with less than five minutes remaining in the contest. Overall, the 29-year-old center is up to 26 goals, 51 points, 169 shots on net, 32 hits and 29 blocked shots across 58 games this season. Wednesday's goal was his fifth since Jan. 5, where he has 13 points and 47 shots on net across 15 contests. After competing for Team USA at the 2026 Winter Olympics, he'll look to stay on track for another 70-plus-point campaign.

Impact Guenther potted an unassisted goal less than five minutes into the third period to place the Mammoth up by a trio of tallies. With the twine finder, he is up to 25 goals, 47 points, 178 shots on net and 43 hits across 55 games this season. Since Jan. 13, the 22-year-old winger has 10 points and 30 shots on net across nine games. He's been effective in multiple different line combinations this season and ranks third on the Mammoth in points. He'll look to continue his solid run of play and remains a strong fantasy option in most standard leagues following the Olympic break.
