Josh Manson - Contributes helper in loss Manson produced an assist, two shots on goal, two hits, three blocked shots and a minus-2 rating in Tuesday's 5-2 loss to the Islanders.
Impact Manson has seven helpers over 16 contests since he returned from an upper-body injury. That offense is fine, but he has been unsteady on defense despite a plus-1 rating and 18 blocked shots in that span. The physical blueliner is still playing on the second pairing -- it's not like the Avalanche have anyone buried on the depth chart who can replace what he brings. He's at 13 points, 52 shots on net, 88 hits, 52 blocked shots, 24 PIM and a minus-9 rating through 40 appearances.

Jack Drury - Tallies in Tuesday's loss Drury scored a goal on three shots in Tuesday's 5-2 loss to the Islanders.
Impact Drury has scored twice on four shots over three games with the Avalanche. They've had him playing on the third line for now, but he could push Casey Mittelstadt for a second-line spot at some point. Drury is at five goals, 11 points, 64 shots on net, 25 blocked shots and an even plus-minus rating over 42 appearances between the Avalanche and the Hurricanes this season, well behind the pace that saw him earn 27 points in 74 regular-season outings last year.

Artturi Lehkonen - Scores again in loss Lehkonen scored a goal on three shots in Tuesday's 5-2 loss to the Islanders.
Impact Lehkonen has a goal in three straight games and has scored seven times over his last 10 outings. The 29-year-old winger tied the game at 1-1 in the second period, but the Avalanche couldn't keep pace in the third. Lehkonen is up to 21 goals (matching his career high), eight assists, 86 shots on net and a plus-19 rating over 40 appearances this season. He can be effective on the second line, but he could also play alongside Nathan MacKinnon at times when head coach Jared Bednar wants a different look in the top six.

Scott Perunovich - Earns helper in team debut Perunovich notched an assist, two shots on goal and a plus-2 rating in Tuesday's 5-2 win over the Avalanche.
Impact Perunovich has a chance at a fresh start after exhausting his opportunities with the Blues, which resulted in him being trade to the defense-needy Islanders. His tenure with his new team is off to a positive start -- he logged 18:52 of ice time in a third-pairing role in his team debut. Perunovich should play regularly while Noah Dobson (lower body) and Ryan Pulock (upper body) are out. Perunoich has seven points, 11 shots on net, 22 blocked shots and a plus-3 rating over 25 appearances this season.
