Impact White signed a two-way deal with Pittsburgh after joining the team on a PTO for training camp. He tallied 15 points in 68 games with Florida last year and has 113 points in 292 career NHL contests. The 26-year-old will likely begin the year with AHL Wilkes-Barre/Scranton but could be an injury replacement at the NHL level throughout the year.

Impact White, who attended training camp with the Penguins on a professional tryout agreement, will earn $775,000 if he plays at the NHL level. He registered eight goals, 15 points, 64 shots on net and 61 hits in 68 games for Florida last season.

Impact White was an unrestricted free agent after the Panthers didn't give him a qualifying offer in June. The 26-year-old was a first-round pick (21st overall) in 2015 with the Senators, but had his contract bought out in July of 2022. He subsequently signed with the Panthers where he managed eight goals and 15 points in 68 games last season.
