Charlie Lindgren - Starting Sunday Lindgren will defend the home crease versus Winnipeg on Sunday, Sammi Silber of The Hockey News reports.
Impact Lindgren has four of his last five decisions, including Friday's shootout win over Carolina in which he came on in relief of Darcy Kuemper in the third period. Lindgren gave up two goals on nine shots in the 7-6 win. He is 19-12-5 with a 2.74 GAA and a .909 save percentage. Lindgren gave up three goals on 29 shots in a 3-0 loss to the Jets on Mar. 11.

Alex Ovechkin - Goal streak at four games Ovechkin produced a goal and an assist, both on the power play, in Friday's 7-6 shootout win over the Hurricanes.
Impact The 38-year-old still has a lot left in the tank. Ovechkin has found the back of the net in four straight games, scoring six goals during that surge, and through 11 contests in March he's delivered eight goals and 13 points as the Capitals push for a playoff spot, with most of that production (five goals, four helpers) coming with on the power play.

Dylan Strome - Plays hero Friday Strome collected three assists, one on the power play, and had the only successful attempt in the shootout during Friday's 7-6 win over the Hurricanes.
