ImpactLindgren has four of his last five decisions, including Friday's shootout win over Carolina in which he came on in relief of Darcy Kuemper in the third period. Lindgren gave up two goals on nine shots in the 7-6 win. He is 19-12-5 with a 2.74 GAA and a .909 save percentage. Lindgren gave up three goals on 29 shots in a 3-0 loss to the Jets on Mar. 11.

Alex Ovechkin - Goal streak at four gamesOvechkin produced a goal and an assist, both on the power play, in Friday's 7-6 shootout win over the Hurricanes.
ImpactThe 38-year-old still has a lot left in the tank. Ovechkin has found the back of the net in four straight games, scoring six goals during that surge, and through 11 contests in March he's delivered eight goals and 13 points as the Capitals push for a playoff spot, with most of that production (five goals, four helpers) coming with on the power play.

ImpactAfter helping to set up two Sonny Milano tallies and a power-play strike by Alex Ovechkin, Strome beat Pyotr Kochetkov in the fifth round of the shootout to secure a crucial extra point in the standings for the Caps. Strome is having a huge finish to the campaign, racking up three goals and 21 points over the last 16 games, and he sits three points short of his second straight 60-point season.
