Teddy Mutryn - Two points in Moncton win Mutryn scored a goal and added an assist in QMJHL Moncton's 7-2 win over Val-d'Or on Wednesday.
Impact Mutryn, a Massachusetts native, is playing in the QMJHL this year, but he is committed to Boston College for 2026-27. The 18-year-old has started fairly well in 2025-26, earning six points over seven games in the Q. His performance Wednesday was his first multi-point effort of the campaign.

Timothy Liljegren - Questionable for Friday Liljegren (upper body) is questionable for Friday's tilt against Utah, per Sheng Peng of San Jose Hockey Now on Wednesday.
Impact Liljegren has no points, one shot, two PIM, three hits and 10 blocks in three appearances with San Jose this year. John Klingberg (lower body) is also questionable Friday, so Vincent Desharnais and Shakir Mukhamadullin might both draw into the lineup.

John Klingberg - Dealing with lower-body injury The Sharks announced Wednesday that Klingberg is considered day-to-day due to a lower-body injury, Sheng Peng of San Jose Hockey Now reports.
Impact Despite seeing a season-high 5:05 of power-play ice time during Tuesday's loss to the Hurricanes, he was held without a point for the first time over the Sharks' first three games of the season. He's considered questionable for Friday's game against Utah, and Sam Dickinson and Vincent Desharnais are candidates to see playing time if Klingberg or Timothy Liljegren (upper body) are unavailable.
