William Carrier - Unavailable Tuesday Carrier (lower body) won't play against St. Louis on Tuesday, according to Walt Ruff of the Hurricanes' official site.
Impact Carrier will miss his second straight game, and it's unclear when he will be ready to return to the lineup. He has chipped in five goals, 10 points, 45 shots on net and 91 hits over 38 appearances this season. Due to Carrier's absence, Jesperi Kotkaniemi will remain in the lineup.

Cam Talbot - Getting start in Boston Talbot will guard the road goal versus the Bruins on Tuesday, Scott McLaughlin of WEEI reports.
Impact Talbot hasn't appeared in any of the last five games, with John Gibson in goal for those contests with a 4-1-0 record over that span. The 38-year-old Talbot has won two of his last five outings, allowing 15 goals on 147 shots in that stretch, but it's clear he's in the backup role currently.
