Nashville Predators sign rookie defenseman Adam Wilsby to two-year contract extension Adam Wilsby, a 24-year-old defenseman, is now signed with the Nashville Predators through 2027.
Adam Wilsby - Inks two-year extension Wilsby (upper body) signed a two-year, $1.55 million contract with Nashville on Sunday.
Impact Wilsby's new deal is a two-way agreement in 2025-26 before becoming a one-way pact in 2026-27. He has produced one goal, four assists, 33 shots on net, 17 blocked shots and 18 hits in 23 NHL appearances this season. Wilsby has missed the last two games because of an injury.

Ozzy Wiesblatt - Reassigned to minors Wiesblatt was returned to AHL Milwaukee on Sunday.
Impact Wiesblatt had one shot on goal and one hit in 13:06 of ice time during Saturday's 6-4 win over Buffalo. He hasn't earned a point in three NHL outings this season but has 11 goals and 12 assists in 41 minor-league appearances during the 2024-25 campaign. Wiesblatt might be an option for the Predators after the break for the 4 Nations Face-Off if Luke Evangelista (lower body), Mark Jankowski (upper body) and Zachary L'Heureux (upper body) remain unavailable.

Joakim Kemell - Shipped to AHL Kemell was loaned to AHL Milwaukee on Sunday.
Impact Kemell didn't record a point in two appearances with the Predators while posting eight shots on goal and four hits in his first taste of NHL action. He has nine goals and 25 points in 38 minor-league outings this season. Whether or not the 20-year-old forward returns to the Predators after the break for the 4 Nations Face-Off will probably depend on the health of injured forwards Luke Evangelista (lower body), Mark Jankowski (upper body) and Zachary L'Heureux (upper body).
