Jacob Fowler - Collects third shutout Fowler recorded a 26-save shutout in AHL Laval's 2-0 win over Providence on Sunday.
Impact Fowler has three shutouts over nine games this season. He's posted a 6-3-0 record with a 2.01 GAA and a .924 save percentage across nine games in his first full professional season. He had some trouble early in the season, but he's allowed two goals or less in six straight outings. Fowler will be given plenty of time to adjust to professional hockey before he's pressed into action for the Canadiens.

Montreal Canadiens announce terrible news after latest injury update on Kirby Dach The Montreal Canadiens announce they will be without another key forward, shortly after losing Patrik Laine for a big stretch of the 2025-26...

Jake Evans - Nets shortie in loss Evans scored a shorthanded goal, added two PIM and doled out three hits in Saturday's 3-2 loss to the Bruins.
Impact Evans has two goals and an assist over his last five games. The 29-year-old could be poised for more ice time in the near future as Alex Newhook (ankle) is out for four months and Kirby Dach (foot) is set to miss at least six weeks, depleting the Canadiens' options at center. Evans is at five points, 22 shots on net, 24 hits, 17 blocked shots, 12 PIM and a minus-11 rating over 18 appearances. He doesn't have a ton of offense in his game, but he's strong enough as a two-way forward to handle second-line minutes if necessary.

Cole Caufield - Gets goal in loss Caufield scored a goal on four shots and added two PIM in Saturday's 3-2 loss to the Bruins.
Impact Caufield has slowed down a bit with three goals and one assist over his last six outings. The 24-year-old winger is still in a top-line role, but the Canadiens' offense has fallen a little flat against tough defensive teams over the last week or so. For the season, Caufield has 13 goals, 19 points, 44 shots on net, 17 hits and a plus-8 rating through 18 appearances. He's shooting 29.5 percent, which likely won't last all year, but he should still be among the better goal-scorers in the league.

Jeffrey Viel - Filling in for injured forwards Viel has played in four straight games for the Bruins after suiting up in Saturday's 3-2 win over the Canadiens.
Impact On the year, Viel has appeared in seven of the Bruins' 20 games, logging five shots on net, 24 hits, 11 PIM and a minus-2 rating. He'll likely get a look in the lineup while the team is missing all of Viktor Arvidsson (lower body), John Beecher (upper body), Elias Lindholm (lower body) and Casey Mittelstadt (lower body). Don't be surprised to see Viel head back to the press box once the Bruins near full health up front.

Nikita Zadorov - Deals helper in win Zadorov notched an assist, two blocked shots and nine PIM in Saturday's 3-2 win over the Canadiens.
Impact Zadorov snapped a seven-game point drought by helping out on Marat Khusnutdinov's first-period tally. The 30-year-old Zadorov hasn't hesitated to mix things up this season either, and he showed that with a fight against Jayden Struble off the opening draw. For the season, Zadorov has five points, 19 shots on net, 68 hits, 40 PIM, 26 blocked shots and a plus-2 rating over 20 appearances, making him a prime source of toughness for fantasy managers in need of that.
NOVEMBER 16 ROTOWIRE
Mason Lohrei - Buries goal Saturday Lohrei scored a goal in Saturday's 3-2 win over the Canadiens.
Impact Lohrei has a goal and three assists over four contests since returning from a five-game stint as a healthy scratch. He could be poised for a larger role if Charlie McAvoy (face) misses time following his early exit from Saturday's game. Lohrei is up to 10 points, 11 shots on net, 18 blocked shots and a plus-2 rating across 15 appearances. There's scoring upside here already, and that will increase if he lands more consistent power-play usage.
