Impact The veteran netminder had little margin for error against the stingy Bruins and Bobrovsky didn't rise to the occasion, allowing a soft goal to Charlie Coyle to open the scoring in the first period. He arguably should have stopped both pucks that got by him in the second, too. Bobrovsky is still having a solid November, putting together a 6-2-0 record with a 2.53 GAA and .904 save percentage, but he might get a breather and turn the crease over to Anthony Stolarz for Friday's tilt against the Jets.

John Beecher - Pots GWG Wednesday Beecher scored the game-winning goal in Wednesday's 3-1 victory over the Panthers.
Impact The rookie center put the Bruins in the lead for good midway through the second period by grabbing a loose puck in the slot, outwaiting Sergei Bobrovsky and then getting a bit lucky as his attempt to slide the puck over the goal line banked in off Oliver Ekman-Larsson. Beecher, the 30th overall pick in the 2019 NHL Draft, is getting his feet wet in a fourth-line role, but he's scored in back-to-back games and all three of his goals this season have come in the last seven contests.

Linus Ullmark - Wins third straight Ullmark made 27 saves in Wednesday's 3-1 win over the Panthers.
Impact His shutout bid got spoiled midway through the second period when a Nick Cousins shot from the blue line deflected off Anton Lundell and into the back of the net, but Ullmark otherwise handled everything sent his way. The 30-year-old remains one of the NHL's elite netminders, and through nine starts this season he's 7-1-1 with a 2.10 GAA and .932 save percentage. Despite those dazzling numbers, the Bruins' strict timeshare will put the equally sharp Jeremy Swayman back in the crease Friday against the Red Wings.
