Facing Maple Leafs Forsberg will patrol the home crease versus Toronto on Saturday, according to TSN 1200 Ottawa.

Impact Forsberg has been strong in his last two starts, allowing two goals on 51 shots. He came on in relief in between the pair of starts and gave up three goals on 13 shots against the Rangers. Forsberg is 5-9-1 with two shutouts, a 2.92 GAA and an .889 save percentage across 17 appearances this season. The Maple Leafs are generating 3.12 goals per game, 11th in the NHL .

Impact He allowed one goal in a duel with former platoon-mate, Joonas Korpisalo. He was great, but the rest of the Sens didn't show up. Forsberg is a tough fantasy activation.

Guarding goal Thursday Forsberg will start on the road against the Bruins on Thursday, per TSN 1200 Ottawa.

Impact Forsberg allowed three goals on 13 shots in relief of Leevi Merilainen in Tuesday's 5-0 loss to the Rangers. Forsberg won his last start with a 25-save performance against the Devils on Sunday. Overall, he has a 3.04 GAA and an .884 save percentage over 16 contests. The Bruins are on the second half of a back-to-back after losing 5-1 in New Jersey on Wednesday.

Impact Forsberg was excellent Sunday in a tightly contested road victory, allowing less than three goals in a game for just the third time this season. This was his first win since Nov. 25, but he did miss most of December with a lower-body injury. The 32-year-old has conceded 12 goals on 105 shots through four appearances in January, turning in a 1-2-1 record in that span. Overall, Forsberg is 5-8-1 with an .888 save percentage and a 2.95 GAA through 15 starts in 2024-25.

Impact Forsberg hasn't exactly impressed since returning from a lower-body injury, going 0-1-1 in two appearances to go with a 3.44 GAA. Still, with a back-to-back upcoming, Forsberg figures to split games against the Penguins and Stars on Saturday and Sunday, respectively, with Leevi Merilainen. Once Linus Ullmark (back) is cleared to play, Forsberg figures to once again be relegated to the No. 2 role in Ottawa.

Impact Forsberg made his first start since Dec. 8 in a 4-0 loss to the Blues on Friday after missing nine games due to a lower-body injury. The Swedish netminder has struggled in 2024-25, but he'll have an opportunity to prove his worth due to Linus Ullmark (back) being placed on injured reserve Tuesday. The Red Wings are 4-1-0 since Todd McLellan took over as head coach Dec. 26.
