Playing second half Kolosov will not be starting versus New Jersey on Thursday as previously reported but is expected to play the second half, Jordan Hall of NBC Sports Philadelphia reports.

Impact Kolosov's best chance of making the Opening Night roster will be if the Flyers decide to carry three netminders into the season. Even if that's the case, it seems unlikely the 22-year-old Belarussian will avoid playing at least some games in the minors with AHL Lehigh Valley. As such, Kolosov is unlikely to offer significant fantasy value this year.

Impact Kolosov will get his first taste of preseason action after coming back to North America this offseason. The 22-year-old netminder is hoping to make the Flyers' Opening Night roster but would need to unseat Ivan Fedotov for the backup spot, though the team could decide to carry three goalies into the regular season. Still, Kolosov likely could be headed to the minors at some point.

Joining AHL Lehigh Valley Kolosov will link up with AHL Lehigh Valley from Dynamo Minsk, the club announced Tuesday.

Impact Kolosov went 22-21-3 in 47 games for Minsk this season, posting a .907 save percentage and 2.39 GAA. The 22-year-old netminder's addition to the Phantoms roster will create a crowded goalie room, as Cal Petersen and Felix Sanstrom are already with the minor-league club.

Inks ELC Kolosov signed a three-year, entry-level contract with the Flyers on Saturday, per CapFriendly.

Impact Kolosov was selected in the third round of the 2021 NHL Entry Draft. He's spent the bulk of the last two seasons with Dinamo Minsk of the KHL -- he posted a 2.54 GAA and a .912 save percentage in 42 regular-season games for the team last season. It's unclear if he will make the jump to North America or remain in the KHL for 2023-24.
